Do you have a version of the theme where this is responsive, or have some guidelines on how to make it responsive?
That's the correct behaviour. It's not technically possible to make the background image responsive. Depending on the image, you can use "background-position" CSS to adjust the background image position for different mobile devices to achieve the best results.
I'm trying to change the images on the homepage slider but I can't find a way to do so. Please guide me as to where I can do the same.
You can override this by putting a CSS background style on the slider list elements in your HTML so you don't have to modify the theme CSS. Modifying the theme CSS is not recommended as it means you won't be able to easily upgrade the theme in the future.
