Hi, this is an awesome template, and a great deal!

I noticed one bug: on http://demos.themelize.me/appstrap3.0.6/theme/customers.htm when you click on one of the tabs (Web/Design/Media), the content updates but the original tab (All Industries) remains selected.
Hi,

Thanks for your kind words & bug report :)

We'll get this fixed ASAP
Thanks again
Tom
I just bought the theme, but if I open the index.html locally in the theme-folder the Revolution slider is not working, it just shows many errors, like: Error at loading Slider Revolution 5.0 Extrensions. Local Filesystem Detected ! Put this to your header: <script type="text/javascript" src="./assets/plugins/slider-revolution/revolution/js/extensions/revolution.extension.video.min.js"></script> ...... how can I get this working?
Hi,

This is a known Slider Revolution problem, the plugin loads extension files dynamically so needs to be run under localhost or a live domain.

There are 2 options:
1) add the local theme punch files before to script.min.js file
2) install MAMP or WAMP and run your on localhost or remote server.

We've tried to find a work around but it's too far embedded into Slider Revolution.

Hope that helps
Thanks
Tom

Hi, what is the best way to override SASS variables in the appStrap theme. For instance, I want to change the color green of $skinGreen but I don't want to edit the downloaded theme files so that I can easily update the theme down the road.

Thanks

Jeremy
Hi Jeremy,

The simplest way is:

1) to take one of the example colour variations in the /assets/scss/colour-variations & copy, paste & rename it to say custom-colour.scss.
2) Open it up and change the "$_primary_colour" variable to the colour you want
3) Open up terminal and type "gulp" to recompile the sass files, see the README.txt file in the documentation folder for more information on that
4) Go to /assets/css & you should see custom-colour.css & custom-colour.min.css
5) Include either custom-colour.css OR custom-colour.min.css in your pages after the line "<link href="assets/css/theme-style.min.css" rel="stylesheet">"

Let us know any more questions
Thanks
Tom
I`m a little mixed up with all the files you are using, the folder "assets" has 283MB and the folder "node_modules" 118MB, how can I find out which files I really need? I do not want to copie the whole package on the server, would be better just to use the files you really need. Is there a way to find that out? Do I need the folder "node_modules" in any case?
Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch.

/assets contains all the css, js, plugins & images the whole theme demo needs to run. If you only need a few pages you could trim the images to just the ones you need by cross-referencing the images used in the HTML code on the pages you need (look for img tags & data-bg-img attributes).

Javascript & plugin files should not be altered as the plugins are only loaded on demand when needed so pages aren't bloated unnecessarily by unused plugins.
CSS only requires the main theme-style.min.css (or theme-style.css) & theme-shop.css if you need the shop theme. Also if you want to disable flexbox support for IE you'll need the no-flexbox.css file.
If you have experience with sass you can create your own custom .css files using only the AppStrap css code you need. We'll be doing some tutorials on this in the coming months.

/node_modules can be removed and is only needed if you are using gulp to compile you sass to css.

Hope that helps, any other questions please email us at info@themelize.me
Thanks
Tom
thanks!
Can I delete the jPanelMenu - folder (assets/plugins)? I do not use gulp or sass.
Hi,

No you need jPanelMenu for the slide out side menus on mobile.

Thanks
Tom
alright, but the node_modules-folder in jPanelMenu/docs can also be deleted if I do not use gulp, right? sorry for all the questions ;-)
Hi,

Yes that should be fine to remove but also probably not doing much harm either :)

Thanks
Tom
thanks Tom!

Hello, I noticed that the header is pulling and cutting off to the right on IE 11. Is this a known issue?
Hi,

Thanks for reporting this we will take a look and get it fix in the next update.

Thanks

Can I use the bubbles.mp4 background-movie for free also for commercial projects?
yes I can, I already found it out, thanks!
Hi,

Yes we only use open source assets or assets we have bought extended licences to.

Thanks

Hi Guys.

I just bought this theme and trying to implement it to the framework (just theme, plugins, js... hope I am not violate license).

When I am loading scripts, as usual, at the bottom of base index (in my case it is Nette framework), just like that: https://pastebin.blesmrt.net/ptp8eos4x

But when I am adding new pages, for example contact, the page wont load because of error of js. You can see it on http://test.vaner.eu

Do you have any ideas, please? Thanks for your support!
Hi,

Thanks for the question.

Take a look in the README.txt file in the /documentation folder, it says;

10. Pages in subfolders
----------------------------------------------------
If you want to put your pages into subfolders you will need to alter the path to the plugins so the script.js file can find them correctly.
To do this (since AppStrap version 3.0.5) you can simply add the following to the body tag for all pages that are within subfolders:
<body data-plugins-localpath=“LOCAL-PATH”>

If you pages is within 1 subfolder it would look something like:
<body data-plugins-localpath=“../assets/plugins/”>

In your site I think this should work:

<body data-plugins-localpath=“http://test.vaner.eu/assets/plugins/”>

Let me know if it's still a problem.
Thanks
Tom

The item attributes type is described as a HTML template. After unzip, all files are HTM. Additionally, after changing the file extensions to HTML, I open the index.html locally in the theme-folder the Revolution slider is not working, I did not expect these problems as I always work local. Additionally, attempting to open the files with Dramweaver and it crashes. Huge disappointment. Looks very nice on wrapbootstrap. Too bad I can’t use it.
Hi,

Sorry for the late reply I didn't get any notification email about this.

We are planning to change to .html extensions in a future release but in the meantime .htm is still an HTML file and will render fine in the browser so you do not need to change the extensions.

Slider Revolution must be run on localhost or live/remote domain as it loads the assets dynamically on page load.
There are 2 options to work around this:
1) add the local theme punch files before to script.min.js file
2) install MAMP or WAMP and run your on localhost or remote server.

As for Dreamweaver, it works fine for me (see screenshot: https://prnt.sc/fk1h87) although we do not use Dreamweaver ourselves, we use Komodo Edit which is free if you are interested.

Please email us with any other issues and we'll be happy to help
Thanks

Sir Tom of Themelize_Me:

Thank you for your detailed response and recommendations.

I probably had created my own problems when converting from .htm to .html.

I will look forward to your release in .html when you get around to it.

I commend you for your great customer service and look forward to purchasing from you in the future.

Much appreciated…
