I am currently trying to use the MvcSiteMapProvider with Areas, but the bootstrap helpers don't seem to work with them.
Is there any upcoming release with support for Areas?
Yes, currently MvcSiteMapProvider helper does not support Areas. I will update it in this week and send you a new version. after that it will be published to marketplace.
Bought this last week - am very happy with it but have a minor bug to report.
In the navigation bar on the left if I have a nested menu item, and want to use <li class="open active"> to show my current position, the active element doesn't show the colour on the left hand side, like <li class="active">.
You can reproduce the issue simply by setting class="open" for the "More Pages" link, and class="open active" for either the "Level 3" or "Level 4" links there.
E.g. I have a navbar with 2 separate menu-dropdown lists. I set class="open" on them so that everything is open when I first navigate to my page. If I collapse the one of them, and then reopen it - the 2nd item is automatically collapsed (when I reopen the first) even though I don't want it to.
Its very simple. all that you need is to create a Layout page with BeyondAdmin css and js links. and you also need to use bootstrap markup in your asp.net forms.
if you intend to use Asp.net MVC you can easily use or ready MVC Solution. it completely written in asp.net MVC and all things are done. just enjoy coding. but if you want to use asp.net web forms you must do some stuff by yourself. also there is a asp.net web forms version that is schedules to be released after angularJs version.
Any idea when you will be releasing the Angular version? I'm trying to decide which to use for a new project. If the Angular version is coming soon, I may move around a few projects to wait for it.
we are working hard on angularJs version. it will be ready in one week or two. but it takes some time for marketplace to review and publish it. but as soon as it completes i can email the version for you and you can help us with feedback.
AngularJs version and any upcoming update or version will be free for buyers. you will receive updates automatically and with no charge as soon as they made ready.
We will take a look at this option.
Full documentation of all versions are under development and will be released in future updates. MVC helpers are used in different scenarios in MVC solution added to source code of BeyondAdmin and you can find everything there. we will may publish source code of MVC Helpers as well in future updates. if you had any question or requirement about MVC version do not hesitate to email us.
Can you give an example?
for creating different charts with flot charts you must look at their documentation at: http://www.flotcharts.org/. they have many more chart types and techniques that you can adapt with BeyondAdmin styling.
I have some questions:
1-In your editable table example, when I click Add New and then Cancel seems to have a problem. The Edit/Delete buttons do not return in the new row, leaving the Save/Cancel. This finish leaving a blank line that the user can not remove.
2-I am trying to load an editable table in the <div class = "page-body" id = "count"> using ajax (innerHTML). The PHP module that activates ajax returns the exact editable table contained in your example from <div class = "main-container container-fluid"> to the end. The table is normally added on the page but none of table manipulation buttons respond to any click. There are how to solve this?
3-How do I process the Clicks in the Save buttons in the lines of an editable table?
I've seen the issue.
it will be fixed in next update. but i can send you the code before review and publish of theme in Marketplace.
I have problem when using more than one Colored Switches in a modal dialog in MVC , the second colored switches is not visible.but it is rendered.
Please advice me to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance
I will give it a try. meanwhile if you send me your code it will help me a lot to reproducing the issue.
Will there be a new version where we can use these nice out of the box features?
Also as a suggestion you should use nuget package restore for the mvc project instead, that way you dont need to include all the package files. (its a better pattern as the packages dont need to be part of the sourcecode, they will be auto downloaded on build)
sure we are working on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google OAuth2 Sign-on. it will be added soon.
and thanks for nuget recommendation. it will be added too.
Best and Thank you for helping us to improve BeyondAdmin
Thank you for your answer.
Regarding my question last week, do you have an idea of when this fix will be available?
Please send me the fix by email as soon as available.
it will be fixed soon. and i will send you the fix by email as soon as it got ready.
Which MVC and Identity edition supported with this .net solution ?
Thanks for your interest in BeyondAdmin.
Asp.net MVC 5 is supported in this version. and also we are working on JQuery file upload helper for future releases.
Just wanted to follow-up on the updates to the checkboxes. As the checkbox does not display if the checkbox is disabled using asp.net.
I am integrating this template with Yii framework bootstrap supporting but beyond.min.css not supporting. Any changes need to do. I have purchased day before yesterday.
Please help to resolve this issue.
Please, I need som help.
Considering a editable table as bellow:
Firts name Last name occupation actions
Ashton Tiger civil engineer EDIT
I whish that when the user clicks the EDIT button, the columns first name and last name are edited as usual, but the column occupation becomes a combo-box whith the occupation options.
Is there how to do this?
if you need any further help, do not hesitate to send us your code through email.
Do you know when your next version is going to get released? I'm starting a new project and would like to start with the latest version if one is getting released in the very near future.
the new version will be submitted in this week. hope it will be in time for your new project.
Best wishes for your project,
