Just a heads up, looks like the package "zimme:active-route" you're using for checking active routes in iron router, is legacy version (for Meteor version):

It does appear to still work correctly as of now, but that may only be for the basic blaze templates, as it looks like multiple issues have been reported on GitHub for the legacy version, all of which the dev tells users to upgrade to use the new version:

Also, you have all the images in like the sidebar and such like <img src="img/something.png"> when they should be <img src="/img/something.png"> as if we use any nested routes (like /dashboard/account) the images will not load as they attempt to load via the /dashboard directory. By placing the slash (/) at the front of the directory it tells the browser to use the root not the subdirectory
Hi again, thanks for both comments with details.. We will review this for next release. We will move to meteor 1.5 and take care necessary fixes and points you have mentioned.

Thanks again
Hi - Can you help create two more layout view for this theme. (Minor changes)
1. A layout with just header and no sider bar.
2. A layout with header where Centric logo remains exactly the same place but only left nav menu slides in and out from left not complete left bar.
Hi, we think your request is clear enough to provide the files for both layout types. A few questions:
For what project do you need them (angular, static, etc)?
Do you need to switch between layout types?

When you get chance please send us a message via our profile so we can send you the files via email once we get it done.

Hello Themicon

I needed also this (a layout without header and no sidebar). I need for my front end project because Centric doesnt have a frontend page

Is it possible to use Bootstrap Tags Input like described here?

This seems not to work.
<input class="form-control" data-role="tagsinput"/>

Hi, we haven't tested bootstrap-tagsinput but if the file is correctly included in the it should work without problems.
Below there's a code that is executed when the page is loaded so if the element is available there's no reason to fail

Anyway, do you see any error in browser console?

Great template, love the way you've organised your code.

Just thought I'd mention a bugfix I had to implement in the Angular 4 app that might be useful. I had to change *ngClass to [ngClass] in the subitems part of the sidebar.component.html in order to use the iconclass property in subitems within menu.ts. I'm using @angular version 4.3.4.
Hi, thanks for report this. You're right, we missed that in the second level label item.
Will fixed for next release.

Thanks so much

Hi, after updating my Centric Template (Meteor) to the latest version, 1.7, dropdowns don't display anymore. For example, on the Main view with the Header, the User dropdown which contains the Logout link doesn't work, it doesn't display the <li> items in the <ul>. I'm currently on the latest version of Meteor, version I'm thinking it might be an CSS issue, but I can't find the root of the problem. Please assist, thanks!
Hi, in last version of Centric 1.7 there were no important changes to the meteor project. Testing also the that version dropdown works correctly. Performing a simple update to meteor 1.5 (meteor update command) the template dropdown seems to work correctly.
the header markup was modified/customized? Is there any error in console?

Hi, no I didn't change the markup or the .js file. Just a note, no other dropdown is working (tested on the Form views) There are no errors in the console.
Hi. from what version are you updating the project? We could check the changes and try to determine the possible issue if there was something related with dropdowns.

When are you guys updating the Asp.Net version to Core 1/Core 2 ?
Hi, the project is already on netcore 1.0.1 (aka mvc6) For netcore 2 we don't have a release date right now.

When i run the app in .Net Mvc 6, I get the below error.

How to resolve ?
Hi, have you restored dependencies from VS2015? It's seems the plugin jquery step is not installed from bower.

Thanks for the response to my questions above. Is there a guide to running the react version on meteor ? I have tried different ways but none seems to be working.

Hi, we don't have a guide to implement the react version with meteor, but we built one a few months ago from another user that requested the same. If you are interested we could update that project and send you the files. If this is ok for you please send us a message via our profile page.

Hi, Is there any installation guide I can use? Regards, Taha
Hi, it depends on the project. Usually you need to install a node enviroment, then using bower and npm install all dependecies and finally use the command start the project, depends on each version.
You can see in documentation information about this.

I need the installation guide for 'Centric - Bootstrap Admin Template' on React.js if there is any available. :)
Hi, for React you can check documentation of the template
Open documentation/react/index.html and search for title "Installing tools"

Do you guys plan to add seed projects to your package? It would be easier to have a project that has 1 or 2 pages only and have the full version to check it out.
HI, for the moment we don't have in plans to add a seed version of the projects.
Depending on the project you can remove components folders that are related with routes (like forms, chart, etc) to get only those component that are used across the application without extra features for routes, not the same like a seed project but will help to obtain a similar structure.

I used Forms >> Wizard page. This page working well. But I used Dropzone function on this page.
But When I click "Open Dropzone" button, onClick event not occurred.
In a nutshell, Button clicking not working.

Please check this screenshot.
Hi, the wizard page is based on jQuery.steps plugin, this plugins has events to know when the wizards has been initialized and when a page is shown. You might need to attach dropdzone plugin to the button when the button is visible, because otherwise the element doesn't exists. You can see events here to see which of them fits for your needs: https://github.com/rstaib/jquery-steps/wiki/Settings#events
onStepChanged event may be the one to use, you need to check the currentIndex to make sure you start dropzone when the step with the button becomes visible.

We're currently using v1.5. The login page does not appear to work correctly with a select control. The label doesn't reposition itself correctly, and the select control overlays the icon on the left. Are there any extra classes I need to add to the select that differ from what's already on the password intputs?

Thank you,

Hi Jon, thanks for pointing us this issue.
Please use the following css to fix both the label and icon position.

.mda-input-group .mda-form-control > select {
padding-left: 36px;
.mda-input-group .mda-form-control > select ~ label {
margin-left: 0;

How can I modify ionicon svg files to make them two tone like they are in the sidebar. I've spent days with Inkscape to try and get them to work but can only manage to get them as a single inherited color. Can you explain how to make it two?

Hi, you can customize color by creating a new theme.
For example, in file components/common/themes.less you can find defined themes included with the template.
Each theme is a class that used mixin to setup the colors used, in case of themes that uses two tones svg a mixin named .theme-sidebar-items is used, this mixin receives two params, the primary and second color.
In short, you can create a define new color by using the mixin like this:

// file: components/common/themes.less
.my-theme {
.theme-sidebar-items(@brand-primary, @brand-success);
The, you can add .my-theme class to body element in order to make it the default theme.

Note that other mixins are used in order to customize the sidebar, header, etc.
The svg files doesn't contains information about colors, the color are inherited from what is define in css.

Thank you. I realise that's the case with the theme. However, when I add an ionicon svg file it only ever displays in the primary color of the theme and not two colors like in the demo.

when inspecting the svg files provided in the demo (public/img/icons) folder, there is some kind of formatting that correlates to whether the primary or the secondary color of the theme is used.

could you perhaps provide a link to the ionicon svg files that I should use to achieve the two color effect?

Hi again, you're right, svg were modified only to be used in the sidebar, sorry we forgot to mention that in previous answer.
You need to add fill="currentColor" attribute to elements in SVGs files for elements that will contain a different color.
In the mentioned mixin, .theme-sidebar-items we used two properties, for your reference:
color: @color1 !important; <-- this is used in elements with attr fill="currentColor"
fill: @color2 !important; <-- this will apply to elements without "fill" attribute

Other SVGs files for Ionicons can be obtained from bower or npm packages installed on your system, or you can download theme manually from its repository:

Is it possible for MVC6 to be updated into: Visual Studio 2017 and ASP.Net Core 2.0?

Useful also Seed projects support

Thanks a lot.
Hi, recently we released a new update that include a Net.Core 2.0 project with VS2017
For the moment a seed version is not in plans in the short time, but we'll consider for future updates.

Let us know if you have any question
Do you have plans to upgrade this template to Angular 5?

Hi, yes, angular5 is in the roadmap for next update but wasn't for the one recently released (v1.9)
Also, we'll try to upgrade to latest @angular/cli as soon as possible.

when i try to run the project (\netcore\Centric\Centric.sln) in visual studio 2015 get the next error:

" error : El espacio de nombres XML del proyecto debe ser el espacio de nombres XML de MSBuild. Si el proyecto se creó con el formato MSBuild 2003, agregue xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003" al elemento <Project>. Si se creó con el formato 1.0 ó 1.2 anterior, conviértalo al formato MSBuild 2003."

it's posible to run it in visual studio 2015 or i have to upgrade to visual studio 2017 to run the mvc version?

plz help, i want to run the mvc version in my visual studio 2015.

First of all, great dashboard, i love it, its clean and gorgeous. Now I am using the Angular 4 version, I have a small caveat, the way the menu is created through the menu.ts file is great but has a huge disadvantage, I cant use a *ngIf to show or hide based on roles, this is true when I try to show or hide the tier 1 menus when they have no access to their tier 2 pages, if you have an email I would love to see if you can give me a hand to fix this or how to replicate the menu straight on the sidebar html instead of dynamically create it.
Hi, please contact us via our profile page and we will chat via email.
We can try adding a "role" entry to the menu configuration, this will be the role allowed for a menu item. Then in the sidebar component is possible to use that "role" entry to compare against the active role using *ngIf.

I love the dashboard and its awesome to work with, I was wondering if you are planning to upgrade to Angular 5 anytime soon.
Hi, yes, we will try to release the ng5 version next week. Currently it's done but we are finishing with some minor changes.

Love the template. Any plans to create a Bootstrap 4 version?
HI, yes, bootstrap 4 in the roadmap. We are migrating the static html5jquery version only,
This project will also include a webpack build system as in the last release of BS4 they dropped support for bower.
