With the multi license, would I be able to use this theme in a small admin section (a few pages) only for a composer package I am working on?
Hi Stygiansabyss,

You may contact wrapbootstrap support for more information or find out more through the following link.

Thank you.

On an iPad with Safari iOS8 saw a weird behaviour on vertical scrolling of the left sidebar.
It doesn't follow your finger, but seems to "multiply" your movement: I tap in one point and move upward and the menu moves upward three or four times faster! The same downward.

Could you check on this?
Hi Physiocoder,

Thank you for your feedback. We will update it on the next released version. For your quick fix, you may change the following wheelstep & touchScrollStep setting inside /assets/js/apps.js

LINE 54:
if(/Android|webOS|iPhone|iPad|iPod|BlackBerry|IEMobile|Opera Mini/i.test(navigator.userAgent)) {
scrollBarOption.wheelStep = 5;
scrollBarOption.touchScrollStep = 500;
}

Thank you.

Hi,
I like your work, I want to thank you for the updates and improvements. I wanted first to report an error. When you go to "Page Options" -> "Page With Ionicons" then go to "Extra" on the sub-menu "Profile Page", but when you give click sends you to a page not found. The same happens when you click on "Page With Line Icons".

On the other hand, we would be very grateful if they added nestable list and Char.js.

Greetings.
Hi Kodev,

Thanks for your comment and report. We have remove the broken link url from our demo site. Char.js and nestable list is one of our upgrade feature in next coming version (V1.6).

There is a bug with the fixed header DataTables implementation. Collapsing the panel doesn't hide the table header.
jonyoung PURCHASED
Just to add, and this I guess is an issue with DataTables itself, if you have say 5 items showing (meaning no scroll bar) and then change it to 60 items (showing the scrollbar), the data on the page will shift to the left (expected), but the fixed header will remain in its position, causing it be unaligned with the data.
Hi Jonyoung,

Thanks for your feedback and report, really appreciate it.

Basically the concept of DataTables fixed table header is the plugins will clone the table header and append it to the body of html. This is the reason why collapsing widget is not working for this plugins because the fixed table header element is not inside the panel-body. We will extend the current widget function in order to handle the custom issues.

For the fixed header resize issues, we will do more testing on it and update the solution in the next coming version (v1.6).

Hi,

I again, I detected a slight error in Tabs when you put the "nav-tabs-inverse" class and change of tab text is blank. I managed to fix this by adding "color: # 242a30;" in:

.nav-tabs.nav-tabs-inverse> li.active> a,
.nav-tabs.nav-tabs-inverse> li.active> a: hover,
.nav-tabs.nav-tabs-inverse> li.active> a: focus {
color: # 242a30;
background: #fff;
}

I would like to add some additional topics for tabs.

greetings :)
Hi Kodev,

It's an admin backend theme so the necessity and priority of the following is minimal, but... With regards to X-Editable, when passing through an email input type the popup box is significantly off-centre. Have you any idea why that may be?

http://puu.sh/dLs20/92ba95fdfb.png
Hi Jonyoung,

Thank you for your comment and reports. We are really appreciate it.
Regarding your question about the X-Editable email input type popup box position, we have found out that the bug is come from the x-editable plugins.
Here is the message that we get while we debugging the plugins.
"Uncaught InvalidStateError: Failed to execute 'setSelectionRange' on 'HTMLInputElement': The input element's type ('email') does not support selection."

We will leave a message to the plugins developer and hope that they will fix this smaller bugs.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Sean.
Love the new 1.5 with advanced datatables ...

We need to combine the following plugins
ColReorder - ColVis - FixedHeader - and TableTools
in the same datatable with proper room for all controls.

Can you create an example of a table with all of these plugins room for all controls?
If not enough room, can you make tabletools buttons a dropdown?

I am sure many other will needs this as well.
Hi Jason,

Thank you for your suggestion, we will look put this as on of our todo list for Color Admin v1.6.

Thanks Sean ... I am awaiting the new version desperately then.

Hello friend, you have a live preview page Ajax version so I can take a look?
raphmte PURCHASED
Hello, I found here in its new version where you see the version of Ajax. Have a good holiday season.
In the ajax version, is there a way to refresh just one widget on a page? Many admin templates have this feature now.
Hi Jason,

Can you provide us more details about which type of the refresh features that you request? This is because refresh widget can be done in several way. E.g re-run the javascript function, reload by retrieving the HTML code via ajax call, and etc.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Sean.
Hi Sean ... the best way would be to server refresh whatever was shown inside the <div></div> widget. Is that possible?
Hi Jason,

Yeah, you may write a simple ajax code to retrieve the HTML code from the server and replace the current HTML <div>. E.g

<script>
$('[data-click=refresh]').click(function() {
var targetUrl = $(this).attr('data-url');
var targetContainer = $(this).attr('data-target');

$.ajax({url: targetUrl}).done(function(data) {
$(targetContainer).html(data);
});
})
</script>

Hi,

I like your template a lot and I purchased it so I can use it to replace our current non-responsive Dashboard.

After downloading the template zip file, I extracted it to my local IDE and then uploaded it to our server via FTP without changing the file structure. (FYI...I am using a Windows 2012 dedicated server to host our Dashboard, and it supports PHP v5.5.14, ASP, ASP.NET v4.5.1, Perl, Python, CGI, MSSQL, and MySQL...in case you need any of that information.)

The HTML version works fine (ex: http://bit.ly/1Bl8v9K), but I cannot get the AJAX version to work (which is the version I want to use). Any pages that use AJAX to call the page content return a 404 error for the content instead of the page called via AJAX (ex: http://bit.ly/1wyOg44). However, any pages in the AJAX version of the site that don't make an AJAX call (ex: http://bit.ly/1wyOl7Q) load fine.

I've been trying to get this to work for several days without having to bother you, but I haven't had any luck. At first I thought it was a path issue, but now I'm convinced it's an AJAX issue. It's probably something simple, but I just can't figure it out.

I've read through the documentation several times, but nothing addresses AJAX setup or issues. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I am under the gun to update our Dashboard with your template.

Thank you very much,

Tom

Hi Sean,

Any word on my issue? I've been messing with this for over 3 days and cannot get it to work, no matter what I do. I have deleted and re-installed it about 8 times, tried changing settings, research everything I could and I still can't get it to work. I desperately need your assistance on this issue.

Hi Tom,

Here is the error details that returned by your server side. You may take a look on it.

Most likely causes:
The request sent to the Web server used an HTTP verb that is not allowed by the module configured to handle the request.
A request was sent to the server that contained an invalid HTTP verb.
The request is for static content and contains an HTTP verb other than GET or HEAD.
A request was sent to a virtual directory using the HTTP verb POST and the default document is a static file that does not support HTTP verbs other than GET or HEAD.

Things you can try:
Verify the list of verbs enabled for the module handler this request was sent to, and ensure that this verb should be allowed for the Web site.
Check the IIS log file to see which verb is not allowed for the request.
Create a tracing rule to track failed requests for this HTTP status code. For more information about creating a tracing rule for failed requests, click here.

Hi Tom,

After we have debug on your site, we have found this error when the page is called by ajax function.
HTTP Error 405.0 - Method Not Allowed
The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) is being used.

We suggest that you change the server permission on the ajax folder.

If you still have the same issues occur, you can send us via email, so that we can assist you to solve the problem quickly.

Hi Sean,

Thanks to your help, I'm happy to say that I got the AJAX to work on our Dashboard. The main issue was our IIS settings didn't allow the POST method on static (HTML) file types. Once I changed the file type to a dynamic file type (ASP, ASPX, PHP. etc.) the AJAX starting working just fine.

I have some CSS issues as a result of the change, but I'm sure I can work through those and get everything working ok.

Thanks again for your help...I really appreciate it!

Hi Sean,

I would like to report 2 issues:

1. The side-bar toggle (navbar toggle) button which appears when the screen size is small has some minor bug. When I click the button the side bar appears but when I click it again it should ideally go back, but it goes and come back again. The only way to close side bar is to touch on something apart from side bar. This problem occurs only with touch devices. On NON-touch devices it works fine.

2. The gallery page has some minor issues. If I have lets say 40 images and when I scroll down on a touch device it works fine but when I scroll back up some of the images ( first 3-4) doesnt appear immediately rather sometimes they take about 1-2 seconds to reappear. Please note when I say image doesn't reappear I mean the whole block containing image and image info doesn't appear

Also thanks for that lazy load plugin link. I successfully added lazy load plugin and it works great. Problem 2 appears even after lazy load. I think it has something to do with speed of scrolling up, scrolling down is fine.

Thanks
Hi Kaayotee,

Thanks for your feedback and report. We are really appreciate it. We have found out the mobile sidebar toggle button issues on touch devices. We will fix it as soon as possible.

For the gallery image issues is caused by the browser drawing speed. When you are scrolling up, the browser will redraw all the pass element (images). If there have a lot of image inside one page, this may cause the speed of browser redrawing the image become slower. This is why sometimes the device take about 1-2 seconds to reappear.

Best Regards,
Sean.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for the reply. I have seen a lot of sites and pages earlier that have 100's of images and doesn't have redraw/reflow issue/delay. Maybe your theme is missing some best practices for reflow.

Currently I am seeing this delay for only 40 images (40 is quite low, still there is performance issue)
https://developers.google.com/speed/articles/reflow

When can we expect the sidebar toggle issue to be resolved? When is the new release? My site will be very touch/mobile centric I really need this issue to be resolved as soon as possible. Could you please share the fix here.

Thanks
Hi Kaayotee,

Here is the fixes for the mobile sidebar toggle:

FILENAME:

REPLACE FUNCTION:

JS:

var handleMobileSidebarToggle = function() {
var sidebarProgress = false;
$('.sidebar').on('click touchstart', function(e) {
if ($(e.target).closest('.sidebar').length !== 0) {
sidebarProgress = true;
} else {
sidebarProgress = false;
e.stopPropagation();
}
});
$(document).on('click touchstart', function(e) {
if ($(e.target).closest('.sidebar').length === 0) {
sidebarProgress = false;
}
if (!e.isPropagationStopped() && sidebarProgress !== true) {
if ($('#page-container').hasClass('page-sidebar-toggled')) {
sidebarProgress = true;
$('#page-container').removeClass('page-sidebar-toggled');
}
if ($(window).width() < 979) {
if ($('#page-container').hasClass('page-with-two-sidebar')) {
sidebarProgress = true;
$('#page-container').removeClass('page-right-sidebar-toggled');
}
}
}
});
$('[data-click=right-sidebar-toggled]').click(function(e) {
e.stopPropagation();
var targetContainer = '#page-container';
var targetClass = 'page-right-sidebar-collapsed';
targetClass = ($(window).width() < 979) ? 'page-right-sidebar-toggled' : targetClass;
if ($(targetContainer).hasClass(targetClass)) {
$(targetContainer).removeClass(targetClass);
} else if (sidebarProgress !== true) {
$(targetContainer).addClass(targetClass);
} else {
sidebarProgress = false;
}
if ($(window).width() < 480) {
$('#page-container').removeClass('page-sidebar-toggled');
}
});
$('[data-click=sidebar-toggled]').click(function(e) {
e.stopPropagation();
var sidebarClass = 'page-sidebar-toggled';
var targetContainer = '#page-container';

if ($(targetContainer).hasClass(sidebarClass)) {
$(targetContainer).removeClass(sidebarClass);
} else if (sidebarProgress !== true) {
$(targetContainer).addClass(sidebarClass);
} else {
sidebarProgress = false;
}
if ($(window).width() < 480) {
$('#page-container').removeClass('page-right-sidebar-toggled');
}
});
};

Regarding your image gallery issues, we will do more testing on different touch devices and release the fixes once we have fix the issues.

Thank you.

Hi Kaayotee,

Do you have any demo site or website that we can help you to debug the issues? This is because the issues has been solved once we add the code snippet above.

P.S: after you update the file for apps.js, you need to update the code for apps.min.js as well. (if you are using apps.min.js as core js file)

Hi Sean,

You were right. I did change the apps.js but was still using app.min.js

Thanks a lot!
Is there a reason why you use POST type in the $.ajax() request in apps.js? This prevents from using a simple server like python SimpleHTTPServer or node http-server for checking the ajax version, since they don't support POST requests but only GET.
Hi Physiocoder,

The main reason that we use the POST type in ajax request is because of some of the security issues. We believe that majority of the server is support the POST ajax request. If you wish to use get method for ajax call, you can change the $.ajax() to $.get().

Best Regards,
Sean.
