The template has a really nice design but I'm having a hard time trying to get bootstrap correctly installed. You used an alpha version (which I don't recommed) and if I install an older version the desing brokes up.
Hi, thank you!
Please consider that this template is fully based on Bootstrap 4, and this version of the framework is not backward compatible. Meaning that you if you replace BS4 files with Bootstrap 3, many features will not work. Currently, BS4 is on alpha stage, and a beta is pretty close, you can see the evolution here: https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/milestones
Bootstrap 4 is delayed but not dead, and we believe it will be closer to a final release in the coming months, maybe near the end of the year, which is why this template is more oriented to new developments and for projects looking to start working with last generation features.
Said that, we haven't discarded the chance to provide a Bootstrap 3 version according to the evolution of the framework in the next months.

Let us know if you have any question.

Thanks,
Regards
Hi,
With the release of BS4 beta, I was looking for a good theme to use and yours is amazing!
The thing is, I'm new to Bootstrap and I'm using Laravel. I've manage to upgrade Bootstrap already, but before I buy your theme I'd like to know if there is any guide on how I can integrate it inside the framework...
Thanks and regards, DAVI
Hello DAVI, for Laravel we don't have a guide but you can try the jQuery version of the project. We don't have instructions step by step but the idea is basically to create an "empty" Laravel project as they indicate in the docs and then go adding pages, files, assets, into the framework. It's not a very easy task but it should not be a panic if you use the jQuery version that has the more "classic" structure.
Regarding to BS4 beta, currently we are on alpha-6 and will be updated to beta this week, in case you purchase before the update, when we release you will receive a notification from the marketplace to download the new version.

Let us know if you have any question

Thanks

Is there an update regarding when the theme will be updated to Bootstrap 4 Beta?
Hi, unfortunately we delay in releasing the update to beta, we hope to have the new version ready by the beginning of next week.

Hi themicon,

Can you please confirm why you've made user to do double click on dropdown menus in order to see options? (I'm talking about Button dropdown). I just find it annoying that user has to double click instead of a standard one click.

Regards,
Anton
Hi Anton, it should not be like that, the dropdown should work like bootstrap default, meaning, open with just one click. Could you point us exactly on which page? and which browser are you using?

Thanks for your time

Hi themicon,

I've recorded a short video clip to demonstrate described behaviour which doesn't seem to exist on original Bootstrap4 website demo.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4UcAzqzkO67OGZSUGVZcVFDUG8/view?usp=sharing

I'm using latest Chrome 64bit version on Windows 10.

Anton
Hi, thank you for the video and detail description.
After reviewing the markup found that by mistake the dropdown has the attribute "data-toggle="dropdown"" which seems to be generating some kind of conflicts with ngx-bootstrap. After removing that attribute, the dropdowns should start working fine.
We will add this fix for next update.

Hi themicon,

Removing of the suggested attribute seems to help.

Thanks for your suggestion

Can you update the template with Bootstrap 4 Beta, PLEASE!

Thank you.
Hi, sorry for the delay with this update. We are currently finishing the next release, mainly dealing with RTL support.
Do you need beta for html5 static version or angular4 ? We have your mail from previous message, so we could send you the updated project to beta if you are interested.

Thanks

I am looking for html5 static version which works with Bootstrap 4 Beta.

Thank you.
Hi, we have sent you an email with the link to download the updated template.

Got it, thank you!
I am also looking for html5 static version with the Bootstrap 4 Beta.
Would it be possible to get access to the updated version if RTL support is delaying the full release?

Thanks.
Hi @joeycoonce, please send us a message via our profile page, we will send you the files via email.
Currently RTL in angular is delaying this release, but it seems we will move forward and focus on that for another release. Static version will include RTL feature.

Thanks
Regards.

Hi @themicon,

I'm building custom angular4 dropdown component which needs to append it's options element for the dropdown directly into the body and it will calculate an absolute positioning of options element by taking the position of it's parent element but I've discovered that it's not working as it should due to constraints of some of the CSS classes attached to the parent container elements as ".layout-container" and ".main-container" typically it breaks because of this styles as when I remove these classes the positioning works fine:

.layout-container {
position: relative;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}

and

.main-container {
position: relative;
height: calc(100% - 60px);
overflow: auto;
-webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;
}

You can replicate this issue with an example from "Append to body" section under https://valor-software.com/ngx-bootstrap/index-bs4.html#/dropdowns

Or just copy and paste the following code into your page component:

<div class="btn-group" dropdown container="body">
<button dropdownToggle type="button" class="btn btn-primary dropdownToggle">
Dropdown on Body <span class="caret"></span>
</button>
<ul *dropdownMenu class="dropdown-menu" role="menu">
<li role="menuitem"><a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Action</a></li>
<li role="menuitem"><a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Another action</a></li>
<li role="menuitem"><a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Something else here</a></li>
<li class="divider dropdown-divider"></li>
<li role="menuitem"><a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Separated link</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated as this is very desired functionality which is provided by most of third party libraries to dynamically append elements to the body.

Regards,
Anton
Hello Anton, we have tested the example code but couldn't replicate the same issue. Adding "container" attribute to dropdown element, appends the dropdown markup to the body and the dropdown becomes visible without problems.
The only difference we can see using "container" option is that the dropdown doesn't have the offset top because of the absolute position relative to body. Anyway, we could fix it using a translate property.
Please note that the elements mentioned, .layout-container and .main-container, are structural and core elements of the template, if you have a custom component that has conflict with this elements it could be better to try to fix the component because changing this elements will affect the entire functionality of the template.

Is it possible to get a detailed changelog for the new release? Its easier for me to apply the updates by replicating the updates within my existing usage rather than a copy and paste from the new code base.

Thanks
Hi, the change.log in the zip package contains the list of files that where added/modified in the last update, you can see there the difference. Some changes like the bootstrap 4 beta.2 update is more related with the new files and changes added in that framework. Beyond that we have added new pages which consists in add the new files, components, etc, and the setup for the menu entry in order to display them in the sidebar.

Excellent. Thanks
Do you plan to launch with angular 5?
Hi, yes, angular5 is in the roadmap for next update but wasn't for the one recently released.
Also, we'll upgrade to latest @angular/cli as soon as possible.

Thanks

hi sir.
are you providing angular TS code also to this template?
Hi, yes, the angular4 project source code is completely written in TypeScript.
