Doesn't have a working contact form. If it had that, I might consider purchasing the item.

Epicure is only a static HTML5 frontend template so it doesn't have any back-end functionality.
It is up to you or your back-end developer to hook up the form using whatever language you see fit.

We have added a working booking form in v1.1.
I bought your theme, but found an annoying bug in ie and firefox: when you click for example at "contact" the active brown color in the menu will be not shown when the content scrolls down, there are some pixels down missing until it gets active, could you fix that asap?

Thank you for reporting the bug. We will look into it asap.

Just tried Firefox and clicking the "contact" link seems working fine...
Can you try disabling your firefox add-ons and see what happens?
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
The bug is not visible in Chrome or IOS 9.1 (iPad), but with the IE 11.0.96 it is the worst: all menu-items are not active after scrolling down via menu-link, if you scroll manually just 1px further down the active menu-color will appear - in firefox 42.0 it is the same, but only with the "contact"-link, the other links before are fine. I also tried the "safe mode without add-ons", with the safemode the behavior is the same as in IE: no active link-color with all menu-items. It seems the content scrolls just 1px less, before it can trigger the active color... I use win7 and I never had this issue with other websites, for example your website www.3rdwavemedia.com works totally fine in all my browsers, all links get active if you scroll down by menu-link.

Thanks for the info! Investigating now...

The fix is included in v1.2. Tested in IE11 and Firefox (Windows system)
I just found out, that the bug also depends on the window-size of the browser, if I decrease the window-size in ff just before the mobile-icon kicks in, the behavior changes: all active link-colors appear (contact as well) but than "About" is not working, and than the website jumps around 20px back and forth without touching it (every 5 to 10 sec) the whole time, there must be any incompatibility with some scripts, I guess...

I found out the jumps are coming from the reviews-slider, when the content differs in lenght. Now comes the weird thing: I deleted the reviews-section and if I check it in ff "contact" works, but in return "news" is not working, strange... hopefully that helps a bit for finding the bug

Thank you very much for all of the info - very Helpful. Will let you know if we find a fix for the bug.

I think we've fixed it.
Can you clear your browser cache and take a look at the demo again?

Yes great, you fixed it! Good job! Could you also update that the active link-color appears in the mobile menu as well? The mobile user can not see any link-change, that would be standart for a good usability. When will you update the files? Thanks again!

Re: Could you also update that the active link-color appears in the mobile menu as well?
Good point. We will try to fit that enhancement into the next release.
thanks, good support!

Thanks for your help as well! The info you provided helped us to pin point the issue quickly. :)
There is a lot of weird overlapping occurring between the hero div and the review section. Especially on landscape mode in mobile. You can test the issue by resizing vertically.

Thanks for reporting the issue. Will look into it and let you know.

Mobile landscape view issue is fixed in v1.3
Hello,
Thank you for nice epicure. I have a question, I want make expand the picture in "news-modal-1" like the other pictures under "signature Dishes".
I write the same code "div class= media-wrapper row" but doesn't working... Can you explain to me?

Thank you very much
Michael

Re: I want make expand the picture in "news-modal-1" like the other pictures under "signature Dishes".

Don't think that's possible.
"Signature Dishes" is using the Bootstrap Image Gallery Plugin but "news-modal-1" is using the default Bootstrap modal. Suggest you get a front-end developer to help you with the customisation.

Where are you changing the Lat And Long coordinates for the google map is it buried in the .js file or somewhere else?
3wm SELLER
You can change the lat and long in main.js
assets>js>main.js
Looking for the line "/* ======= Google Map ======= */"

Removing the Google maps section stops the date/time picker from functioning. Where is the dependancy for this?

Re: Removing the Google maps section
What exactly did you remove? Can you provide more info?
Deewebs PURCHASED
Hi I have removed the maps tag

<div id="map" class="map-container">
</div>
3wm SELLER
In HTML:
Find the line says <!--//Google map related JS --> and remove the JS links.

In main.js:
Find the line says /* ======= Google Map ======= */ and remove the relevant code.

I needed to use the Google map on an additional page so needed to retain Google Map JS in main.js. Solved the problem by simply moving the Google Map JS after the jQuery form validator.

Thanks for your replies.

Hello,
thanks first for epicure!
I have a question regarding the
<div id="navbar-collapse" class="navbar-collapse collapse text-center">.
If i try to add one more menu point (instead of 6 i have 7 points to navigate) the 7th point get pushed down one line, so my navigation is now 2 lines. It is like a limitation and i can not find any point in style.css where i can correct the width of this container.

Greetings from Germany
3wm SELLER
You can try making the menu item font smaller and reduce the gap between the items to fit another item.

Thank you, everything is working right now.
One more question: In the part for reviews, is it possible to put more reviews under (as example) tripadvisor, so the customer can slide between tripadvisor reviews, yelp etc.

Now when i slide i get from the guardian to tripadvisor to yelp, but it would be nice to click on tripadvisor and slide there between some reviews - the same with yelp. Is there some workaround or is it to complicated?
3wm SELLER
No, our template can't do what you wanted to do. However, you can always get a developer to do the customisation for you.
