Does jQuery autocomplete work within this theme?

Butch Clydesdale

Thank you for contact. I never tested jQuery autocomplete with Homer so it is hard to tell something about it. But in next version I will add autocomplete feature. It will be based on this library that works very well: https://github.com/bassjobsen/Bootstrap-3-Typeahead

How can I set ticks (labels) for a flot bar chart on the x axis?
Nvmd. figured that out!

2. Things:

1. Toastr notifications look different than from your demo. Your demo ones look more stylish but no matter what I try I cannot make them look like you do.

2. xeditable is not working for an ajax populated table.

Thank you for contact. Can you show me on screenshots the difference between notification in demo and in your version ? About second question, what do you mean by "not working for ajax". Here is a simple damo for ajax: http://jsfiddle.net/xBB5x/62/

Best regards, Damian
Hi Damian,

here's a fancy screenshot: https://ibb.co/iLc1MF
The toastr skin on your demo looks way more awesome than what I currently have.

Hope you can help me activate that :)

Thank you for contact. It may be a issue with style files order. Do you have a live demo where I will be able to debug it ?

Hello. I can not find a script for login.html file.
When I just click the login button, pops up "please fill out this field" message.
Where can I change or modify it?
I really need modify it because make a ID and password check with DB file. (such as php or asp ... etc)
I checked all including .js files and .css files but couldn't find out.
Please advise me for find and modify.
Thank you.

Thank you for contact. Login.html file use native html5 validation. If you want to change them then you need to setCustomValidity function. Here is a popular topic about this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5272433/html5-form-required-attribute-set-custom-validation-message

Is there a change log for 2.0?

Thank you for contact. Yes, in Documentation folder you can find change log file. Of course if you need detailed diff, feel free to contact with me on support email.

Hello There,

My is a paid user of "Homer Responsive Admin Theme". I am sharing a major layout issue and hoping that you will help me ASAP.

I am facing issue with layout on window with multiple widgets. If there contents are not fixed (in height or width).

For example - Please view this page

If you change contents of these widgets the layout breaks completely.

I wanted to share screen shots but there is no option here.

Please view below url to check my window situation:

As per my requirement I cannot fix the height and width. Please look into the issue and provide solution. I hope you will be easily able to regenerate the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for contact. It is not an issue, it is just a matter of grid system you will use for those widgets. More about grid system supported by Homer you can find here: http://webapplayers.com/homer_admin-v2.0/grid_system.html

In general you will need to specify in the beginning how many columns you want to have in each row. If you put them in row then you will not have an issue with different height. But if you don't know how many columns you will have and you don't know the height, you will need to have different layout mechanism - something like masonry.

Best regards, Damian
Hi Damian,

Thanks for reply. I understand your point but I cannot pass fixed column to the grid because this count varies in different size of screens. Your theme must be responsive right? that's is what you named it. Please share a valid solution for the issue I am facing. Widgets (or columns) are not fixed, their size is not fixed .. they must float in a sequence without breaking the layout.

I need something like this, please refer below image url -

Homer is fully responsive but you must apply some grid system. If you dont want any grid system then as I wrote earlier - the best solution is masonry layout - like Pinterest has.

Best regards, Damian

Is this theme Angular 2 Compatible ?? If not when will it be available ?

Thank you for contact. No, in current release there is no supported version for Angular 2. I dont have specific release date for it but for sure it will be available in future releases.

When I started my HOMER project in Angulra Full it started properly but I am not able to change page-title. It always have HOMER along with module name.

I want to change Homer from there. Kinldy let me know how can I do that.

Thank you for contact. There is a special directive for page title it calls: pageTitle() in directives.js where you can create your own title pattern. It is 25 line in directives.js.

In the full angular version there are nice animations for every div on page load, but I don't see these animations in the html/js version. What can I do to get HTML/JS version to have the same animation behavior as the angular version?

Thank you for contact. The animation effect it calls animate-panel. Here is information how you can use it: http://webapplayers.com/homer_admin-v2.0/overview.html If you will need any help, feel free to write to me.

What is the best way to upgrade a project that uses an older version? Could you add this to the documentation?

Thank you for contact. The best way is to check change log section in documentation. I added info about what is new, what was changed etc. Additional you can always contact with me on support email and I can give you more detailed diff.

Best regards, Damian

I'm having some troubles in resizing the 'Search Something Special' search bar, and I'd like to make it bigger to fit the free space between it and the buttons on it's left. How can I do that?

Thank you,

Hi Pedro,

Thank you for contact. You have two way. Firstly you can just get bigger width, let's say 400px. But it will be fixed width. So you can use calc option to calculate the empty space like this: calc(100% - 600px) - 600px is a sum of right-navbar and left logo and toggle navigation button.

Best regards, Damian

this is a very powerful and nice theme. Thank you for that!

Unfortunately since version 2.0 of HOMER the navigation (sidebar on the left side) does not automatically scroll down with the page itself. It is fix and therefore cuts of, when you scroll to the bottom of the 'parental' pages. I am at the very beginning of programming, so maybe there is a very simple way to fix that. However, I have noticed, because in version 1.9 it works perfectly fine. I am using Meteor v1.4.3.2, (2017-03-14).

Do you have any idea, how to make it work? Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Kind regards,

Thank you for contact. This is just an option in left navigation. Since version 2.0 sidebar-scroll is enabled by default. You can simple remove sidebar scroll option in layout.js file in Meteor and it will work as body - not fixed.

Best regards, Damian

Thanks for the new version of the theme, looks great. Having a trouble switching to Light shadow when html version, says page does not exist.

Thank you for contact. If you want to apply new Shadow Light skin, all you have to do is to upgrade your style.css and add 'light-skin' class to open body tag.

Best regards, Damian
