Hello Damian,

i've just discovered this new admin dashboard and i have to say that this is truly one of the best designed and developed dashboards on the market!

Great work – congrats!

Hi Damian,

I know it sounds weird, but is possible to have this template as normal html structure?
I'm new in node.js and it will take some time until I learn this.

Thank you!
Logann
Hi,

Currently we provide only AngularJS version but we will add a pure html/jQuery version soon so feel free to contact with me on support email and we can set a timeline for this.

I use Hot Towel Angular, a SPA template for .NET developers. Are you familiar with that? Just wondering how well this template would integrate with Hot Towel.
Hi,

Yes I know HotTowel template but I never used it so it is hard to tell. We will check the possible integration and then provide some more info about it. Thank you for suggestion.

We have currently Azure based Webapp with similar Dashboard and would like to make it professional and hence purchased HOMER-ANGULARJS WebApp Theme. We would really appreciate if there is step-by-step tutorial to incorporate this theme into our WebApp.

Thanks & Regards
Krishna
Hi Krishna,

I just answered to your email. It is hard to give you step by step tutorial because i don't know your app. But feel free to ask me anything about Homer, I would love to help.

Best regards, Damian
Thanks Damian for all your help! After installing github it worked. Please add this prerequisite in your documentation.
Are you planning to release an MVC 5 Full / Seed project as in Inspinia? I own Inspinia but would like to use this one for a new project.

Thanks,
Mitch
Hi,

Yes, we have in plan a MVC version for Homer. But firstly we will add a Landing page and many views for analytics and expanded forms controls. Soon we will release new version so please stay tuned.

Hi,

I'm using my own backbone.js based framework, and you said you were planning to release raw html/jquery version soon (like with Inspinia). I would like to buy this static version, can you tell us when exactly do you plan to release it ?

Thanks,
Forgot to reply, please look at the comment below.

Hi,

We are on the finish for release 1.3 version. Raw html/jquery version and next package of new features we will add in 1.4 which will be release on early march.

So I'm a bit confused on something. I purchased the theme and tried to open the index.html on the seed project. Then I noticed this apparently requires node.js in order to even run? If you're using with this other web servers like IIS, will it not work then?
Hi,

Yes, Homer use tools like Grunt and bower under node.js. We mention about this on description page - AngularJS/Grunt/Bower. We suggest use it as it will accelerate your development, but of course you don't have to. Feel free to contact with me and i will guide you how to run without grunt.

Ok I apologize for not reading it that closely then - the fault is mine. It's a great theme and I really am glad I purchased it. May just take a bit more effort to get it to work. Thanks!

Hi Damian,

Thank you for the great news!

"We are on the finish for release 1.3 version. Raw html/jquery version and next package of new features we will add in 1.4 which will be release on early march."

Can you help me please with loading this project correctly, as I'm stuck with this loading bar and with an js error.

I followed your instructions from documentation with node install and steps to run homer, but I get this error and I had to copy vendors.css in styles, as I got an error as is not found in dist/styles.

Thank you!

if this helps you..

Hi,

You do not have installed git repository. Please just install GIT and everything will work well. We will add note about it in documentation, Git is so popular that we assume that everyone have it - sorry about that. Feel free to write to me on support email anytime if you have any problems.

Thank you! All is working fine now.
Hello Damian,

Can you please tell me when would be the new layout would be coming, with all the updates that you mentioned.

Cheers,
Mal
Hi,

"New layout" ? We have in plan to release version 1.3 this week, but it will not have any new layout. We received many requests for raw html/jquery version so this version will have it and of course some new features.

Best regards, Damian
Hi Damian,

Thanks for getting back.

You mean that version 1.3 will have the following

Nestable list
Wizard form
Fixed menu
Draggable panels
Dragable functions

as well?

Cheers,
Mal
Hi,

Yes, this is the part of the features list we're working on, but not all will be available in 1.3. As I mention we have many requests for raw html/jquery so we want to release it earlier. But we will add nestable list as well. If you need any of those features earlier, feel free to write to me on support email.

I need to use wizard page. Would you kindly add Wizard Page as "INSPINIA, Forms-Wizard"?

With Best Regards,
Ricky
Hi,

Thank you, yes we will add a wizard page in 1.4 version. In next days we will release 1.3 so in next week we will start working on 1.4. Thank you for suggestion.

Could you please describe what would be the major differences between using HOMER and INSPINIA for an angular project.

p.s. I recently purchases INSPINIA and am very satisfied with it; I am starting a new project and was wondering what would be the advantages of basing on HOMER instead.

Thank you.

> major differences between using HOMER and INSPINIA for an angular project.

besides the look and feel
Hi,

Thank you for using Inspinia theme, I'm glad that you like it. Basically besides look and feel (Homer is more brighter theme) Homer and Inspinia Angular versions are similar but Homer are much more modular - in scripts, styles and views. Homer is also provided with full Grunt/Bower environment - Inspinia has only Grunt/Bower Seed Project.

Is there a reason why ocLazyLoad is not used in HOMER (but is used in INSPINIA)?
p.s. I do like how ocLazyLoad manages the scripts for the views in the router.
Hi,

Inspinia has much more plugins and external scripts and needs lazy load, during while Homer will grow we will also add ocLazyLoad to it.

Best regards, Damian
Fantastic theme! Love it. Are there any plans for blog pages (list & item)?
Hi,

Thank you for kind words, Yes we have in plan to add many new views soon, so blog pages will be available.

Do you happen to have more in-depth documentation? I didn't see it in the download.

E.g., would like to load a page of panels with them all collapsed by default.
Hi,

Thank you for message. Yes, documentation is dedicated to the main element of the theme. With each version, we will develop it. For initial collapsed panels please contact with me on support email and i can send you example code.

Very nicely styled Admin Template - just waiting for FAQ and Blog Sections to be added before purchasing.

Good work!
Hi,

Thank you, these views will be available in next version which we will release very soon.

Hello Damian,

In the form section, are you planning to put "Datepickers, smart multiselect, autocomplete,
Form control states" ? and I couldn't find pagination for tables.

Are you planning on releasing these in an up coming version?

Cheers,
Mal
Hi,

Yes, new version will be focused to provide additional form controls (such as datapicker, slider, multiselect or switcher) and some new views. We are currently working on it and it will be released soon.

hi.. when i run bower install i get this:

Unable to find a suitable version for jquery-ui, please choose one:
1) jquery-ui#~1.10.3 which resolved to 1.10.4 and is required by angular-ui-calendar#0.8.1
2) jquery-ui#~1.11.1 which resolved to 1.11.3 and is required by HOMERPrefix
the choice with ! to persist it to bower.json

which should i choose?
Hi,

During bower install you should always choose library that is required by HOMER. In this example the answer is 2. At the end of line you can check "..is required by HOMER".

Hello,
Can I change or turn off animations of the widget loading?

cheers?
Johns.
Hi,

Yes, of course. You can turn off animation (just remove animate-panel directive) or change to any other effect. You can play with some effect on this page: http://webapplayers.com/homer_admin-v1.3/#/transitions/overview.
