Hi,
I want to purchase this template. Just require a couple of clarifications:

1. The 4 versions (html, angular, mvc, meteor) - are they all part of the same purchase? I mean, once I make a purchase, does the downloadable content consist of all of the above?

2. Does the MVC version support ASP.NET Core 1.0?

Thanks!
Hi,

Thank you for contact and consider Homer theme. Yes, all available project like: Angular, Meteor, MVC and html are included into one package. Additional you have also PSD files, seed projects and of course css preprocessors. The MVC in current version supports RC1 .NET. New .NET Core version will be supported in future release.

Hello,

while developing my app with Homer Angular version the animation of content doesn't work after some changes but I don't know why.

this is my content div:

<div class="content" animate-panel effect="zoomIn">
<div class="row" ng-repeat="array in documenti">
<div class="col-lg-6" ng-repeat="documento in array">
<div ng-include="'views/list/documento.html'"></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Hi,

Thank you for contact. You have two ng-repeat, do you want to have animation of the first loop or on the second loop ? I will suggest to set the 'child' property with custom css class in the element you want to animate. If you need any help, feel free to contact with me on support email with your code.

Hi,

I didn't see any switch button included in the template (something similar to https://proto.io/freebies/onoff/).
I would rather use the one included (if any) rather than adding yet another library.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Guillaume
Hi Guillaume,

Thank you for contact. You are right, in current release I dont have any switch control in Homer. I will definitely add one in next release. Thank you for suggestion.

Scroll of the left menu is not working on my chrome browser. I cannot click on a half of menu items. There is no scroll bar appeared.
Hi,

Thank you for contact. Can you say something more about this issue. Can you send me your Chrome version ? I just tested in all latest version and it works without any problems.

Hello, great theme any updates about react version ? even beta ?
Hi,

Thank you for contact and kind words. I have in plan to add React version but I can't give you any release date right now. If you are interested in beta, feel free to contact with me on support email. Mostly I don't share full beta version, as it is for official release, but I can share some starter project that can help jump to the code right away and save a lot of time on initial implementation.

Hi WebAppLayers,

I am facing problems with getting the template to work with UI-Select - the dropdowns are not coming forward as they normally do. They are hiding behind input boxes. Please advise how I can resolve this.

Thanks,
Ankit
Hi Ankit,

Thank you for contact. I did not prepare ui-select in Homer theme so it is hard to say something about it until I will provide official example. But if the component is hidden behind input then probably simple increase z-index will solve the problem.

Hi,

The main menu wont scroll up and down (doesn't have a scroller) in Chrome Version 51.0.2704.103 m.

I am having a similar problem to ik7 a few days ago.

Running a screen resolution of 1366x768 resolution. There doesn't seem to be a scroll facility to scroll the menu up and down. When I decrease the resolution right down to a thin style it scrolls.

Any clues what is going on?

Hello,

Can you please let me know when the next version with .Net Core 1.0 will be available? I know you're busy and have other themes and responsibilities so thanks for your time. I'd like to get a pilot version of a new project I am working on up and running under this excellent theme...even beta would be helpful at this point.

Regards,
Scott
Hi Scott,

Thank you for contact. I can't give you specific release date as I have many features still in development. If you are interested to have access to some beta versions feel free to contact with me on support email with your license Id.

Its one of most complete and most beautiful admin theme I have ever seen thus far however its based on outdated framework AngularJs, Angular 2 is about to be released and already there are more than a million sites powered by Angular2. I just want to know if you have any plans for Angular2 with Bootstrap4 version. As a angular developer, I would rather start with a project with latest framework rather than working on a version which is going to be obsolete in future and will have to migrate in future.
Hi,

Thank you for contact and kind words. You are right about the Angular2. I have in long term plan for project for Angular 2 but right now I can't give you any specific date. For for sure I will work on it in future.

I am facing error in building Homer_Full_Version_AngularJS project. I cleaned the bower_components directory and executed below commands:

npm install -g grunt-cli
npm install -g bower
npm install
bower install

after running grunt build, when I open the index page in dist folder, I get below error in browser with blank page.

vendor.2dd47912.js:4 Uncaught Error: [$injector:modulerr] http://errors.angularjs.org/1.4.12/$injector/modulerr?p0=homer&p1=Error%3A%…r_Full_Version_AngularJS%2Fdist%2Fscripts%2Fvendor.2dd47912.js%3A4%3A21105)

below is the page that I am accessing:

Thanks you
Hi,

Thank you for contact but select-2 work perfectly on Firefox browser also. Please check the live preview: http://webapplayers.com/homer_admin-v1.9/forms_extended.html If you changed or added own code you just need to check what styles you overwrite.

I bought HOMER template for MVC5. Manage to unzip and compiled successfully. Works perfectly fine in local Machine. But when i wanted to test template on my website, it stands at PreLoading page, and stands there forever. Not moving to Dashboard/Index page. Could you advice why is this so.

When i test locally, the site works fine from local machine.
Hi,

Thank you for contact. It is hard to diagnose without live link or code but for sure you have some errors in console log. Please open it and check the messages. You can send me those messages on support email and I will help you with debug.

Hi, This is a really nice theme! When you click between menus on the 'live preview' and it's 'working between pages' it says 'Homer - Responsive Admin Theme, Special Admin Them for small and medium webapp....etc'

When you purchase the theme, will it still display that while navigating between pages or just give the more white labeled green moving progress bars?

Thanks!
Hi,

Thank you for contact. It is a example text for demo purpose. You can (and you should) change it. It is a simple text in html.

Hi,

I'm sorry if this is a duplicated question, but I can't find an easy way to search for older posts.

What's the preferred way to customize homer (colors, typography, etc.)?

I've seen both less and scss files, but I'm not sure where to start. Is there a common file with all the customizable variables?

Thanks!
Hi,

Thank you for contact. Yes, there is a main style.less file. This file should be compiled as it has all import for others less files and in this file you can find all variables for major configuration.

Hi,

I must say, what a fantastic bootstrap! It has been a joy working with it!

I have used the seed project for MVC to build a Proof of Concept for a client and I have things to a point that I want to be able to share with them what I have.....

I am attempting to publish the site to Azure and everything seems to publish correctly, however when I try to navigate to the URL, the site just hangs and I get 500 - The request timed out error.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Hi,

Thank you for contact and kind words. It is probably some issue with configuration server. It is hard to help without any detailed information. I will suggest to enable detailed error message and see what exactly cause your problem.

Hi

We are interested in purchasing this but we have following queries. We will be using this in our .Net based MVC 5/6 solution. Can you please let me know? I appreciate it.

1) We want to have ajax & json based data pull & push for form display and submit. Thus, we want to avoid post backs. Is this implemented in the MVC based solution?

2) Does this have an example of interaction between asp.net MVC-based service and client-site ajax call?

3) We want that from list of data shown in tabular format, if we click on any record, it opens up in one of site panes or in a css/jquery based modal dialog. And data can be edited and saved directly from there. There should be no page post-backs. Can we see a working example of this?

4) How is current data shown on dashboards and other screens fetched? How does the server-side code interact with client-site fancy UI elements? Is it via json/xml or something else?

Many thanks!
Hi,

Thank you for contact and consider Homer theme. All major libraries have JSON support. If you are interested in .NET project then in the MVC 5 version I additional prepared special small view with only json example (simple chart, fullcalendar etc.) But please note that Inspinia is a front-end theme - interface, and in general I don't provide any ajax backend services examples.

As Homer is an interface, the data in dashboard are in the code for demo purpose. Major libraries support json so you can easily add own ajax calls to get the data from backend and use in front end.

Hello,

My business partner recently purchased Homer, and I've been working with it - really great template, job well done.

I'm running into a bug that's impacting my users a lot though - when a user closes a modal, the page scrolls up to the very top. We have some very long pages so this creates a poor user experience when the user has to scroll all the way back down to their original place on the page.

Is this a bug or a setting? Either way, we'd need to have this fixed very soon - any advice on how to fix?

Thanks,

George
Hi,

Thank you for contact. To improve this please add (overwrite) or replace old style for body.modal-open: body.modal-open { padding-right: 0 !important; position: relative; overflow: visible; }.

When the page loads, a vertical scroll bar appears for 0.5 seconds and then disappears. What could be the reason for this and how can I resolve this?
Hi,

Thank you for contact. It is a effect in small content page as I understand, it is caused because the fix_height function is run. I will check if this can be easy improved and provide an solution for it.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a global way to change the default color styling of green? Kind regards, Colin
Hi,

Thank you for contact. Yes, in Homer package you can find css preprocessor files. All major colours - like the green one, are stored in variable and you can easily change it and compile own new css style. If you need any help with this feel free to contact with me on support email.

Best regards, Damian
