I know you have probably been asked this many times, however I cannot find a definitive answer, I have contacted wrapbootstrap multiple times with no reply.

Which license would be suitable if using this template as a base for a web app hosted on a single domain with one database that users can sign up to use its services at a small monthly cost? (There will be a free plan too)

The theme would not be resold, the users would only be able to use the services, social media scheduling features for example.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have seen conflicting answers on this site and not received a reply from support here.

Thank you for contact. If you plan to build one app that will be hosted on single domain and you will have paid or free access, then this is a standard SaaS (Software as a service) app. In this case you can use Single Application License. A long time ago I confirmed this with Wrapbootstrap.

If you have no plan to resell or redistribute the code, you don't need to have Extended license. Single License can be used for commercial purpose - which means you can have paid access to your app, you just can't redistribute the code - which means resell your app.

I hope I helped a little and clear the doubts. If you will have any questions feel free to ask anytime.

Best regards, Damian

Do you have site demo for MVC 5/6?

Thank you for contact. I don't have demo page but if you are interested I can send you example file from the project. MVC version has identical features like normal version.

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but what is the difference between the Homer Seed Project for ASP MVC6 and the Homer Full Version ASP MVC6?

Many thanks

Hi Paul,

Thank you for contact. Seed project is like a starter project, it is a application skeleton for a typical project. It has only core features so it is great for start new proejct. Full version is a project with all features like it in live preview.

Hi Damian,
my congrats for this very nice theme!
Any plan to release an Angular 2 (actually RC5) version?
Thank you, best regards!

Hi Paolo,

Thank you for contact and kind words. I have a plan for Angular 2 project but I can't give you any release date right now. I'm working on new views currently for new version.

Hi, I would like disable IOS zoom in on field focus. How to do ?

Thank you for contact. We talked about it in email conversation. Additional meta tag should remove the auto zoom: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, user-scalable = no">

Hello, I would like to say I do like this theme very much. I purchased it this morning, however I have a quick question when customization. Is it possible to either a) remove the side navigation for desktop size screens (md,lg) or b) have the side navigation toggle on page load (if on desktop sized screens)?
Essentially I am "attempting" to just use the top navigation bar (horizontal) for desktop users.

Thank you for contact. I don't have such a feature built in current version but it can be done with css styles. You can basically hide the navigation on desktop and show on mobile using only @media rules. I will conisder to add such a feature in future updates.

Best regards, Damian

Great Template, thank you! I just bought it, but I have some problems with the ASP.NET MVC 5-version. In both project - seed and full - when I try to WebDeploy it to my server, I get errors that files are missing. It starts with e.g. "Vendor\animate.css\.gitignore". If I remove all .gitignore-files there come up some more errors.
Can you take a look at it and maybe repair your solution?

Thank you!

Kind regards,

Thank you for contact and report this. I will check it and see what may cause this issue and improve it in next version. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention.

Best regards, Damian
Probably some files are not excluded from the solution.

Best regards, Damian
Yup, that's the case. I removed them by hand (nearly all files start with ".") and it works. Unfortunately I cannot use the core-version as the webdeploy does not work with my server. But that has nothing to do with your template! But if anyone knows what to do, let me know. :) I'm always getting "USER_NOT_AUTHORIZED" but the connection test works and the same user works with WebDeploy on ASP.NET MVC 5-projects.

Thanks, Damian, for your quick response. Looking forward using your template in my CarSharing-Project! :)

nice Template! I have a Question. i want the google map, but i can not make a Marker. can you help me?

Your Code is:

// When the window has finished loading google map
google.maps.event.addDomListener(window, 'load', init);

function init() {
// Options for Google map
// More info see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/reference#MapOptions
var mapOptions1 = {
zoom: 14,
center: new google.maps.LatLng(49.441339, 7.978228),

// Style for Google Maps
styles: [{"featureType":"landscape","stylers":[{"saturation":-100},{"lightness":65},{"visibility":"on"}]},{"featureType":"poi","stylers":[{"saturation":-100},{"lightness":51},{"visibility":"simplified"}]},{"featureType":"road.highway","stylers":[{"saturation":-100},{"visibility":"simplified"}]},{"featureType":"road.arterial","stylers":[{"saturation":-100},{"lightness":30},{"visibility":"on"}]},{"featureType":"road.local","stylers":[{"saturation":-100},{"lightness":40},{"visibility":"on"}]},{"featureType":"transit","stylers":[{"saturation":-100},{"visibility":"simplified"}]},{"featureType":"administrative.province","stylers":[{"visibility":"off"}]},{"featureType":"water","elementType":"labels","stylers":[{"visibility":"on"},{"lightness":-25},{"saturation":-100}]},{"featureType":"water","elementType":"geometry","stylers":[{"hue":"#ffff00"},{"lightness":-25},{"saturation":-97}]}]

// Get all html elements for map
var mapElement1 = document.getElementById('map1');

// Create the Google Map using elements
var map1 = new google.maps.Map(mapElement1, mapOptions1);

Thank you for contact. Firstly please note that you don't need to paste code here on comment section - I provide support via support email. If you looking for code how to add Marker to Google map you can check the official Google example, there are many full working code examples: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/marker-simple

Does it works well with angular 1.58 ?

Thank you for contact. I not tested fully Angular 1.58 yet. Based on changelog it should work without any problems but to confirm that I will test it in next week and I can let you know.

First of all I would like to thank you for this excellent theme . I purchased it last wek , however I have a problem with the modals.

If the layout of the page contains only one row when the modal open it shifts the page content to the left.
For example if you change Interface/Modals.cshtml to have only one row with a col-lg-12 column
the modal will open and will shift the entire page to the left.

I am sending the entire code of a sample cshtml page which reproduces the problem.

Thanks in advance

ViewBag.Title = "Modals";

We want to Homer theme. It will be used for a SaaS application by our client. It will be used for ONE application only. However, it can run under multiple domains and sub-domains e.g.
customer1.domain.com or customer2.domain.com and also as we will have different dev, staging and production servers, so it will need to be installed on different servers and domain e.g.customer2.dev.domain.com, customer2.dev.domain.com

Can you pl suggest what licensing is best for the above. At the end of the day is it being for ONE application but installed on upto 4 servers as part of development process.

Pl suggest asap, so we can buy.
Hi Vijay,

Thank you for contact. It is natural in programming that you have development and production version. The most important is the final product. You will have one app, and you will use it in one core domain. In this case you can use Single Application License.

First of all, great template, I love it!

Second, are there any plans to update the template to match meteor's most recent version 1.4?

Thanks in advance,

Thank you for contact and your kind words. Yes, I will upgrade Homer project on the latest Meteor version in next release.

Best regards, Damian
HI -

I bought your theme and like it quite a bit.

I have no eye for design or else I wouldn't ask this, but would you be willing to customize the colors to be more consistent with the product I'm selling?

Thank you for contact. Please note that Homer provide css preprocessors and all major colors are stored in variables that you can change in one file and compile your own new styles with colors that suits your app.

Best regards, Damian
Hi, I've tried to download the updated files but the original files I downloaded are just downloaded again.

How do I get the updates.

Thank you for contact. You can't always get new links to your page on the page: https://wrapbootstrap.com/support/download-resender It will give you links to the latest version.

Best regards, Damian
Hi Damian,

I tried that approach before writing to you here but I'm not getting the updated files, I'm getting the versions I got the first time, seeing as the change log has been updated recently I expected new files. Do you update the download package or just the files it it?

Yes, but please that 1.9.1 version has only new .NET Core 1.0 project. New features and views will be added to separate 2.0 version released soon.

I have been looking for a template I can use to create a Dashboard page in my MVC/EF website. I want the user to be able to select from a set of "dashitems", a collection of possibly modals and/or partial vies. The code in the items would do things like - display a list of a set of my contacts.

Is Homer a good choice for this, it needs to be able to be used as a view in the website which is created based on the table data about the user.

Thanks for your time.

Thank you for contact. I'm not sure if theme will be able to help you in that feature. Please note that Homer like others themes is a interface, library with front-end visual components. What you are looking for is a specific functionality. You can of course build it with Homer but for sure this functionality will required custom work, it is not built in feature in Homer theme.

Best regards, Damian
Thank you for responding so quickly. If I drop the requirement to let the user customize the dashboard so that there are a fixed number of pre-defined panels with each being populated based on the result of a query against a SQL database, does Homer work for that. I have created a dashboard view with 5 "panels" where each panel is separate partial view. Where I am having issues is populating the panels so they scroll and do not grow in viewport size as the data returned increases. I guess what I am looking for is a set of templates that have a main container for the overall view and child containers to populate when the user signs on. As examples, there might be a "ToDo" list, contacts list, calendar, etc. Probably easily doable but I am new to MVC/EF having come from C#/.Net land and I find it hard to adapt to the vast amount of work the framework does for me.

I really have to write one more time what admin theme is. It is a set of visual components. It's based on Bootstrap and has additional many extra predefined pages, widgets etc. It is a html/css/js code. What you asked is a functionality of the whole app, with integration to SQL database, render option etc. Of course you can do it with Homer, you can do it with Bootstrap. But it is a basic render mechanism and you can just build it how you want. At the end of the whole process getting data from database you have view. And in this view you can use Homer components. And how you render this components depends on what language you will use: php, javascript, ruby, .net etc. If you need any example file how Homer looks in code please contact with me on support email.

Best regards, Damian
Got it. I really do appreciate your response. It makes me more inclined to use as this indicates you care and provide support. I am using MVC/EF so the "code" is C#, HTML, Bootstrap, .j.s, etc. I am currently wrestling with a partial view that I am trying to populate from an action" in a controller. I suspect the problem I am having is that I get the data in the partial view but I think I should get the data in the main view container and then just use the partial view to populate it. The lack of a visual tool to develop the user interface in the MVC world is a real pain.

How do you deploy one in angular version without server? What I use the grunt?

Thank you for contact. If you want to deploy your app on server then you need to firstly build it. To do this you need to run 'grunt build' command. It will build your app in dist folder and the files you can just copy to your http server.

Hi there do you have a file upload component?

Thank you for contact. Unfortunately no, I noticed it also and I will add it to the next release.

Best regards, Damian
My client purchased this theme a couple of months ago & I'm working on its angular version. Now I'm having two issues.
First is with the modal, when I open a modal the whole base page content is pushed towards left. I googled on it but none of the solutions worked. Do you know how to fix the issue? BTW. I'm using Bootstrap version 3.3.6 & UI-Bootstrap version 1.3.3.
Second issue is, I couldn't find any file/image upload component in your theme. Is there any chance that you are going to add one in near future? My requirement is something like Facebook profile picture where you can upload an image and then crop it. Do you know any angular component available which is similar to that?
Anirban Bose

Thank you for contact. About your questions:
1. Please add this extra css rules to fix the problem: body.modal-open { left: 0; right: 0;}
2. Yes, in current release I dont have it but I'm working on it and it will be added to the next release.

Best regards, Damian

I am using HTML/JS version. I've noticed when you have a select2 (multiple) which contains a default selection the page animation behaviour is strange. It seems to slide the wrapper in from the left while also performing the normal animations on its child panels.

You can replicate this by adding selected="selected" to any of the options in the Multi Selection example on the forms_extended page.

Any suggestions how to fix the wrapper animation/resize?

Hi Rick,

Thank you for contact and report this. I just checked and I'm able to reproduce it. I will need to dive deep into this to find out what cause this. For some reason it's like 'rebuild' the whole page at the load - it is very wierd behavior, I will check it.

Hi there

Thank you for great template.

Thank you
