Hi All
I've noticed that when fixed-small-header is toggled (fixed-small-header class added to body), the dropdown menu of the header appear behind the small header.... even z-indexes seem to be ok...
Are you aware of this?

Best
Lorenza
I've solved putting z-index:1002 instead of z-index:1000 in .fixed-navbar #header

Hi,

Thank you for report this and share the fix. We will fix it also in next version. Thank you.

This is a great template and I'm loving v1.7.

I have one question though, when the window is reduced, the sidebar dissappears quite nicely and you can use the expand button to toggle it, but the navbar-right div disappears completely with no chance of getting it back, so on the smallest resolutions you never see this menu?

In an ideal world, the navbar right should dissappear and be replaced with the expand bars button and the sidebar should have a hide/show toggle icon?
Hi,

Thank you for contact, and you have absolutely right. This behavior we will add in next version.

Really nice theme I'm looking to use for a client's internal web app. Would be really cool if there was a "dark" color skin as well, that way uers staff could pick a preference as they will work with their app all day long!
Hi,

Thank you for contact. It is a nice idea, we have some plan to add more skins for Homer so we will consider to add some dark skin also. Thank you for suggestion.

Great theme!

Looking forward to next update soon.

If release the app I am building open source. How can we deal with the Homer theme? Should that be removed? Or is ok as it based on open source libraries and the app is open source?

The app is for a ngo tree-credits.org which goal is to plant and take care of trees worldwide.

Thank you!

Angel
Hi Angel,

Thank you for contact. For the new version we are currently preparing additional PSD files that's why we move a little release date, but it will be available soon. If you want to use Homer theme in open source project then you will need to have Extended license - it is described as redistribution.

Best regards, Damian
I like this Dashboard theme and I prefer over INSPINIA.
I bought it yesterday only.
I am using it for my meteor app.

I just want to be sure that next version is compatible wit latest Meteor version 1.2.
Meteor 1.2 has some breaking changes (https://github.com/meteor/meteor/wiki/Breaking-changes-in-Meteor-1.2) and I see a new 'less' package with no backward compatibility.
There few more packages also need to be upgraded used in this theme.

Thanks
Ashish
Hi,

Thank you for contact. Yes, we are preparing update for latest Meteor version 1.2. As it has some breaking change we have in plan to release new version with new features and next version with updated Meteor. As it has some breaking change it required some more work and test.

Hi,

I have a problem when opening modals with this theme.

The issue is when you open a modal, the page scrolls to the top so if I have a large height page, I have to scroll down everytime I open a modal.

Thanks.
Hi,

Thank you for report this. Can you send me some example because i just checked it and can't reproduce it in live example. I think you can also check the additional styles .modal-open {overflow: visible;}. I will try to reproduce this in development environment.

I just bought this theme and was expecting to have PSD mockup files of the various layouts. Can you please confirm where those are located? Thanks
Hi,

Thank you for choosing Homer theme. In current version we not provide PSD files, but we are working on it and almost 40 full layered PSD files we will add to next version.

Best regards, Damian
Do you have any idea when the next version will be ready? And is there any way you can deliver to me just 1 PSD with the base layout framework?
Hi,

Yes, of course. We have already more than thirty full layered psd files for Homer. So feel free to contact with me on support email with you License Id and I can send you interested view - it will save you many work.

Hi Damian,

First, this is an awesome theme. Thanks for your hard work.

I'm having an issue with the left sidebar on the Meteor version of Homer. When the browser window is small (e.g.: on a mobile phone or a small browser window) the sidebar is visible by default when loading Homer on a mobile phone instead of being collapsed by default.

This issue is not present when re-sizing a browser window from a large window to a smaller window as the sidebar collapses on the resize. However, on a mobile phone this is not possible to resize and the user has to collapse the sidebar before the app is usable.

Is there a way to have the sidebar collapsed on page load when using a mobile browser?
Hi,

Thank you for kind words and report this issue. I just checked it and see the problem. I will add this issue to current developing version and the fix will be added to new release. Thank you for pointing this and report.

Hi,

This theme looks really great. However I have one concern. Does it come with a HTML/CSS/jQuery version ? Because I want to use the templates in a non Angular project.

Thank you.
Hi,

Thank you for kind words and consider Homer theme. Yes, it has HTML/CSS/jQuery version so you can freely use it without AngularJS.

Hi,

Yes, yesterday new version was released.

Best regards, Damian
Thanks for update.
has meteor version not updated? I see readme file there it says version HOMER 1.7.

Also there is no mention of giving support to Meteor 1.2 and no word on it in HOMER in-progress list as well.

It is important for me. Please clarify.

Regards
Ashish
Hi,

Thank you for contact. I forgot to change the readme file - thank you for pointing this. But apart from that whole version was updated as well as other versions. About Meteor 1.2. We separate this to next version because we will also update Angular version to AngularJS 1.4 so we will release special update very soon for upgrade all frameworks.

Best regards, Damian
Thank you.
Another thing I wanted to point out that Flow-Router is another most popular router than Iron-Router.

Any plan to give meteor version with Flow-Router (using Blaze Layout).

Hope HOMER for Meteor 1.2 version will be out soon.

Thanks
Ashish
Hi,

Yes, basically we will probably move to Flow router because as far as I see Ion router lost a little support and Fow router has much more features right now. Definitely we will provide Flow router in future versions.

Best regards, Damian
Awesome!
I think, I got to implement my own all these things. I can't wait anymore for those features. Until you release within a week :)

I think that won't be much difficult.

Thanks for this great theme.

Thanks so much for the app all together guys. I would like to know the best way to update the app within my project. I don't want to lose any of my work. Please advice on this. Thanks and once again you guys are awesome!!

Thanks,

Hi,

Thank you for contact. If you want to update your existing project then the best way is to check change log and just pick those features from new version that you want to. If you write your additional css styles in separate file you can easily update all less/css files, then just pick the page/feature that you want to integrate.

If you will have any further questions feel free to contact with us on support email.

Hello.
I finally bought this awesome template! :) yay!

I'm starting my project so right now I need to validate when an User is logged or not. If is true then redirect to the dashboard otherwise prompt the login form.

Can you help me with this?

BTW: I'm using Meteor.
Hi,

If you want to add authentication functionality to Meteor version then the best way is to use Meteor Accounts - it is a complete user account system, take a look: https://www.meteor.com/accounts

Hi there!

We are using the MVC version and we are getting a lot or errors with git ignore and d-store file etc on project deployment. We tried a deployment from a new untouched zip and still getting the same issue.

Can you help?
Hi,

Thank you for contact, but we have not added any git repository in our MVC version. Maybe you have some git options enabled. Let me know more about your warnings on email support and i will try to help.

Hi,
Is there any way I can use HOMER theme templates with aldeed/meteor-autoform in Meteor? So that I can have uniform design across application.

As I included HOMER in my existing Meteor application, It messed up with some auto-form generated styling. Specially Checkboxes stopped working.

Thanks
Ashish
I am getting below error on Chrome console when I navigate to Notes page.
I am using HOMER in Meteor 1.2.

1. Failed to decode downloaded font: http://localhost:3000/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.woff
2. OTS parsing error: invalid version tag
3. Failed to decode downloaded font: http://localhost:3000/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.ttf
4. OTS parsing error: invalid version tag

Please help.
Also this error as well.

5. SVG's SMIL animations (<animate>, <set>, etc.) are deprecated and will be removed. Please use CSS animations or Web animations instead.
Hi Ashish,

About autoform, we have in plan to incorporate it in future version so we will check any messed styles. I think you have a problem with checkbox because Homer use additional AwesomeBootstrapCheckbox plugin that requires specific html code for checkbox. You can check correct structure here: https://github.com/flatlogic/awesome-bootstrap-checkbox#user-content-use

About fonts, those errors may be a MIME type configuration on your serve. Feel free to send me more info about your server on support email and we can check it.

Last warnings about svg it's caused because we use animate tag in the svg element on loading Homer - the green animated bars. This is deprecated and we will change it to the css animations in next release.

Best regards, Damian
Thank you so much Damian for your response.

Regarding errors, It is reproducible on your preview site itself.

Steps to reproduce on Chrome browser.

1. Go to HOMER preview site http://wrapbootstrap.com/preview/WB055J451
2. Click on METEOR VERSION on left navigation
3. Click on APP VIEWS then NOTES.
4. Open Chrome console to see error.
Hi,

Thank you very much for, you are right there are warning about glyphicons fonts. We will fix it and add improvement to the next version.

Best regards, Damian
