Hi,
Thanks for this beautiful template. My company wants to buy it but Paypal is not available in this region. We have international Master Card, Amex & Visa, but there is no option to use that.

Would you please suggest me how can we that without Paypal?
Hi,

Thank you for kind words and consider Homer theme. PayPal is the only payment method available in the marketplace. If you have international card you can easily create PayPal account. There is no other payments methods.

For Metero what is the router used. I am interested in Flow Router.
Hi,

In current version we are using Ion router but we will move to Flow router as Ion router lost support and Fow router has much more features right now. We will provide Flow router version in next release.

Hi

This is a great looking template I am considering purchasing shortly. I was wondering if it possible to use 3 menu levels on the left hand menu? I cannot see this functionality in the demo.

Many thanks

Tim
Hi,

Thank you for contact and consider Homer theme. In current version we don't have example code for third level of menu but we can add this in next version. I will add this feature to the road map and it will be available in next release.

Hi Damian,

A year ago you said this would be available in the next release. When is the next release due. Is there any progress on this?

Many thanks

Hi.

This is an impressive template and will be used by our designers to customize our intranet pages.

I have this question:

I'm about to buy a single license to use this template, but I wish to have more detailed info about the C# .Net MVC 5 project that comes with this package:

* Views granuralirity, and what they contains.
* Number of models and controllers.

Thank you very much.
Hi,

Thank you for contact and consider Homer theme. The ASP.Net version is .Net 4.5.1 project written in Visual Studio 2013 - working also on VS2015. Project use Razor engine so it has a layout strucutre with header, navigation, content, footer etc. Each view is a separate page with own controler with render function.

If you are interested I can send you basic documentation to see how the project is structured. Feel free to contact with me on support email.

If you (like me) struggle to get jQuery event on "showhide" class to work in partial views in MVC5+, then here is the trick that will fix it.

Go to script file "homer.js" and find the following line:

$('.showhide').click(function (event) {

..and replace it with this:

$(document).on("click", ".showhide", function (event) {

This will work for views as well as partial views, which fx has been loaded using Ajax, since the event is bound on main scope.
Hi,

Thank you for sharing this. Yes, if you are building some dynamic feature for ibox you need to change direct binding to delegate using on() function to have ibox tools. If you struggle with something don't hesitate to write to me anytime you want.

can you explain how to close the dropdown?

Dropdown
Dropdown is a simple directive which will toggle a dropdown menu on click or programmatically.
Hi,

Yes, if you want to toggle dropdown using javascript function you can use a 'dropdown' method: $().dropdown('toggle'). for example: $('#mydropdown').dropdown('toggle'); Example of dropdown usage you can find under Interface -> Colors & Buttons -> Dropdown buttons.

Hi, anyone got an idea how to "fix" responsive panel issue like this: http://imgur.com/aoQQOQ4

As I make the screen smaller, the text in the 3rd box in the first row expands, making the panel higher. The result is the panels are repositioned so the first panel in the second row gets repositioned to a new 2nd row.

MVC code from view:

<div class="row">
@foreach (GroupModel grp in Model.GroupList)
{
<div class="col-lg-12">
<div class="hpanel">
<div class="panel-heading">
<div class="panel-tools">
<a class="showhide"><i class="fa fa-chevron-up"></i></a>
</div>
@grp.Name
</div>
<div class="panel-body">
<div class="row">
@foreach (DeviceModel dev in grp.DeviceList)
{
<div class="hpanel hgreen col-lg-3">
<div class="panel-body">
<div class="col-sm-12">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-sm-12">
<h4>@dev.Name</h4>
</div>
</div>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-sm-4">
<div class="font-bold">Ping</div>
<small>181</small>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-4">
<div class="font-bold">Website</div>
<small>OK</small>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-4">
<div class="font-bold">Status</div>
<small>OK</small>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
}
</div>
</div>
<div class="panel-footer">
@Html.Raw(String.Format("{0} devices", grp.DeviceList.Count))
</div>
</div>
</div>
}
</div>
Hi,

Thank you for this use case. I think there are two ways to avoid shifting panels with different content. Firstly you can use a bootstrap convention and every four panels wrap them with <row> elements - probably this is the best in your case. You can also use some masonry library for it - we dont have it yet but we have in plan to add masonry plugin in next version, you can see an official demo: http://masonry.desandro.com/layout.html

Can i change color o make transparent the Simple splash screen?
Hi,

Yes of course. You can set transparent to the main splash container. Just add this extra style: .splash { background: transparent; }. Please remember that splash screen has also some text so you may want to remove it. Or you can use transparency in the background like this: .splash { background: rgba(255,255,255,0.5); }

This is a great template. I am deploying to a S3 bucket with an extremely long cache. The index.html, Javascript and CSS are loading great after a deploy but the angular templates are not updated because of the cache. Have you considered adding https://github.com/ericclemmons/grunt-angular-templates to deal with this situation?
Hi,

This is great suggestion - thank you very much for sharing this library. I saw that it has some issues, but I will definitely check if we can use it in Homer and if everything works well i will add it to the official package.

Dear Webapplayers,

Great template! However there seems to be issues with IE9 when trying to use the sidebar (angular version).. both when trying to click on an item to browse and when trying to expand a submenu. Did you see that?
Hi,

Thank you for report that. I didn't noticed it, we will check the possible issue and fix it. Thank you for pointing this out.

hey,
Love the theme and the painless integration with Meteor. Great work!

Would you consider adding a chat widget to the customer front landing page?

And looking forward to your flow router update
Hi,

Thank you for contact and kind words. Yes, I can add chat widget to the landing page. Thank you very much for the suggestion, I'm always happy to hear what users would like to see in next versions.

Hi,

Any ideas if we can do a boxed layout with a fixed-navbar? Seems like this might be incompatible given these lines in the meteor version. I can see you're turning off the boxed layout when the fixed-navbar is enabled. Possible to do both?

$('body').addClass('fixed-navbar');
$('.status-fixed-navbar').html("<span class='text-success font-bold'>On</span>");
$('body').removeClass('boxed');
$('.status-boxed-layout').html("Off")
Hi,

Yes, you can combine boxed layout and fixed navbar. We have not added this option but you can do this by adding 'boxed' class to body and 'fixed-navbar' .Next please add this extra style:

.fixed-navbar #header {max-width:1200px};

And this will give you boxed layout with fixed top navbar.

Best regards, Damian
Damien - Thanks! That works well.

Now... how about if I want a fixed sidebar, fixed-navbar and a boxed class on the body?

That would be my ideal layout for the desktop version of the app.
Seems to work with the following custom css:

.fixed-sidebar #menu {
left: auto;
}

Can you confirm if this is all that is needed?
Hi,

Exactly, you just need to get rid of the left:0 because it attaches navigation to the body left and add auto and it will attaches navigation to the relative wrapper.

Hi,
I liked this theme and wish to use it in my project. I am good at coding but not so good at design. This is the reason for using your theme.
Can you please tell me : how am I supposed to use the package provided by you? Do you provide a tutorial?
I would be using PHP & MySQL.
Hi,

Thank yu for consider Homer theme. If you are familiar with PHP and MySQL then i will suggest to use HTML/JS version of Homer. It is strict html files without any additional code. If you know AngularJS then you can use this version and create backend with PHP. It all depends on your knowledge. Please not that Homer is a interface - we not provide any backend functions or services.

Hi,
I like to purchase with my Credit Card. Before I do I need some information. I am using VS2015 Community edition. I like to get the "Multiple applications" version. I have already build my Web app using ASP.NET 4.5 MVC template. I am using Microsoft Identity and I am using both SQL Server 2008 and 2014.

1) Is the MVC version of "Multiple applications" responsive?
2) Do you have any short documentation how to use in my web app?
3) Can I use your Login Page to change my existing one?
4) How is the e-mail option is works?
5) Can I use authentication for each dashboard item?
6) My Administrator and user will use my web app for some CRUD operation. And the reporter grub will use report page daily to see active users. Is it possible to use my own SQL Server base Microsoft Identity or do you provide your own?
7) And last, can I change the color of dashboard items?

Kind Regards,
Hi,

Thank you for contact and consider Homer theme. About your questions.

1. Yes, apart form license type Homer in general is responsive theme
2. It all depends on structure of your existing project. But Homer is modular so you should not have a problems with the structure.
3. Yes, of course. But you have to note that we dont provide any login service. Homer is a interface theme with front-end components.
4. Can you elaborate a little this question ?
5. In front-end of course you can but it depends on exactly what you want to do ?
6. We not provide any backend service, Homer is a front-end admin theme
7. Of course, you can change all colours with provided LESS variables.

If you have any other questions feel free to write to us. You can also contact with us on support email to get detailed information about Homer.

Hi there again,

I am using the angular version and I am really enjoying it.
However I am having trouble using animate-panel effect="zoomIn" with ng-repeat. I know you say to use ng-animate, but with your zoomIn effect you get every panel to show in sequentially, one after the other. With ng-animate they all come at once.

Is it really possible and how to use animate-panel with ng-repeat? or how do you suggest to achieve the same effect?

This is what I was trying:
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-3" ng-repeat="container in containers | orderBy:'type'">
<div animate-panel effect="zoomIn">
<div class="hpanel hgreen contact-panel">
<div class="panel-body">

Also I wanted to know how you would suggest to start a panel already collapse?

Thanks!
Hi,

Yes, you can use animate-panel with ng-repeat. I recommend ng-animate because it has built in stagger function but of course you can use animate-panel as well.

so lets start with saple controller with sample @scope variable like this:

function sampleCtrl($scope) {
$scope.containers = [
{'title': 'Title 1', 'body': 'Body 1', 'collapsed': true},
{'title': 'Title 2', 'body': 'Body 2', 'collapsed': false},
{'title': 'Title 3', 'body': 'Body 3', 'collapsed': false},
{'title': 'title 4', 'body': 'Body 4', 'collapsed': false}
]
}

Next the view. The whole code with animate-panel, ng-repat and collasped option will look like this:

<div ng-controller="sampleCtrl" animate-panel effect="zoomIn">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-3" ng-repeat="container in containers">
<div class="hpanel" ng-class="{'collapsed': container.collapsed}">
<div class="panel-heading hbuilt">
<div panel-tools></div>
{{container.title}}
</div>
<div class="panel-body">
{{container.body}}
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>

Hi Damian,

I have another quick question..

I load the aside and the header in my main html file only after a user logs into the system.

However when the login page loads, for a brief second or so, you are able to see the outline (border, etc) of the sidebar(aside) and header.

As I mentioned I tried adding ng-hide if user not authenticated (tired ng if too) but i can still see those when page loads.. Any idea why and what I have to modify to fix that issue?
Hi,

If you want to hide aside and header for users that is not logged, it would not be easier to just use different layout instead of manipulation in html ? But in general you should use ng-if instead of ng-show or ng-hide because ng-if not render html. Feel free to send me your code on support email and I will try to suggest you correct way.

Best regards, Damian
