Hi, thanks for your quick answer. I will follow with some more questions to you.

1) "Material Admin Responsive + Dark Skin" theme is one of the most well crafted themes that i've found. Its mobile performance is really great, congrats! But, i'm missing a bit of this in "Material Admin Extended". I'm almost buying the other (older) version, instead of this one, just because of its performance. The sidebar doesn't open and close so smooth as it does in the previous version. On my mobile (Galaxy Note 3) i can see it showing itself behind the other elements (z-index) and then moving forward to the top. The same happens for the new "alerts sidebar", but the performance of this is worse, and on mobile i would say that it is not ok yet. Are you still working on that? On the overall UX and UI performance?

2) "Autocomplete" are on your plans to create an UI for this? To show results while a user is typing on the main search bar.

3) "Timeline" is coming also to this new version?

4) Components. The source code of the UI is well separated as components? Each of them has its own JS, CSS and HTML files, or they are all in one big JS, CSS and HTML files?

5) "Fixed Navbar", as someone already asked for it. This is really important, to have a way of behaving like an app.
Hi,

1. Material Admin Extended is just started and will tune it further by listening feedbacks. Both templates are equally important to us. We'll fix issues and optimize as it should be in our upcoming updates.

2. Right now, Typeahead Js is available as an autocomplete solution. It can be implemented as you need at any case.

3. Wall design is included with current package and which can be used as timeline by doing some CSS tweaks.
http://byrushan.com/projects/mae/1-0/wall.html

4. Yes, all these plugins are imported from bower_components (vendor/bower_components) and included when there is a need. All CSS overrides for given plugins are placed at less/inc/vendor-overrides

5. It's a bit challenging to bring fixed header in extended design. We have some plans, we'll try to execute it, if it works, we'll include this option in our next version release.

Regards.
Following your comments...

1. Do you have a deadline, or a possible release date for this fixes on UI/UX performance? I'm asking because i want to buy this theme for a product that will be released on at least one month from now. So if you think that you will have this fixes soon, i will buy it and update it when you release another version.

5. But i tried a simple test by putting the <header> element with "position: fixed;width: 100%; top: 0;" and giving a padding-top to <body> and it seemed to work fine. Maybe this idea can help you, but for sure you know more about your product than me, and probably had seen some more problems related to that.
Hi,

1. I'm sorry, can't decide an exact ETA. My plan is to try my best to release an updated version end of July.

2. It'll work well on desktop but in mobile it would cover the entire screen and won't be able scroll as it has a thick header. Need to find a solution to go well with both mobile and desktop.

Regards.

Hey,

Similarly to the guy above, it would be good to know what the timescales are for the next update.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank your for your feedback. We'll fix these issues in our next update.

Hi!

I really like this template. But i liked much more in a specific structure (up to 1279px in width).

How can i put that structure as a default structure of full width?

Cheers!
To clarify,

is this model I'm talking:

Hi,

Firstly, sorry for my late response. If I got you correctly, you're looking to set the width of the main wrapper.

Please check this one http://byrushan.com/projects/mae/1-0/calendar.html

You want something like this?

Regards.
Not exacly.

I want to my layout to be in that width style even in full screen.

I'll Explain:

In full width this is the scrutucre of the theme: http://imgur.com/B724rOq

I want this "tablet mode" scructure to be the theme structure (even in full width): http://imgur.com/iMJ9eCV
Hi!

When i have a table with inputs on Material Admin (http://imgur.com/IWqmneT) the inputs works seamesly with the table.

But using the same method on this Material Admin Extended (http://imgur.com/H2BlHu4) the inputs backgroud override the table itself.

Can you help me with this?

Cheers!
Hi,

Sorry for my late response. I think I've forgot to add the style for inputs in extended version. You can fix it by setting the background color of .form-control class to transparent in less/form.less.

Hi,

Option buttons, do not update on the desktop unless you leave active browser and return, works fine on mobile.

login form doesn't use placeholders and anything entered is over the email and password

Many thanks

Scott
Hi,

I apologise for my late response.

Could you please be more specific about buttons. I'm not getting it.

In form fields I'm not using placeholders but labels. If you have pre values or dynamically updating values, make sure to use the class '.fg-toggled' on '.fg-line' element in order to keep the label active and floated.

Regards.
Hi

When is possible to get the next release?
Im working in a redistributable platform and soon I will to finish but before i like tune it with last changes from template.

Regards!!
Hi,

I'm sorry I can't give you an exact ETA. I will try to release it ASAP.

The template is great. Thank you so much for building this masterpiece. Do you plan on building a front-end theme to match?
Hi,

Thank you very much for your kind words. We'll consider adding one in our future releases. Please stay tuned.

Regards.
Are there any plans for a fixed width version? Or perhaps a menu on top version?
Hi,

We'll consider adding these features in our upcoming version releases. Please stay tuned.

Regards.
Hi,

Is it hard to implement something like HammerJS? Would be great to using it on mobiles: if the user slides from the left, the menu opens. Like the same as in native applications.

Regards,

Bart
Hi,

It should not be. This is just a HTML template thus you're open to include any third party plugins and components as per your need.

Regards.
Hi!

I have some questions. First, is the fixed header abble on this template like Material Admin Responsive + Dark Skin?

Second, I'm gonna buy this template, but I don't know if the next updates will be included for free after buying it.

Regards!
PD, is the next update near to come? I'm so ansious to get it!
PD2, in the next update, will the newest material design icons designed by Google included?
@rushenn

hello,

Im interested in using your material-admin/material-admin-extended (both truly pieces of artwork!)

1) i have no understanding of LESS and i am working with visual studio and ASP.net. will i be able to use either of these versions? i just need a drag and drop solution, the same like plainly importing bootstrap. (so just js and css files perhaps)

2) can i buy the 'extended' version for 10 dollars or is it the 'extended' version of 'material-admin' and will it set me back 500,-
Hi,

Thank you for your interest. I'm sorry there is no any drag n drop solution currently. You'll also get the CSS along with LESS.

Material Admin Extended is a different template with it's own design and UI. Each has it's own pricing for all 3 licenses.

Regards.
Hi

good work on this theme, was checking out the live preview and noticed that in Firefox mobile the menu is not working properly and the context menus takes ages to show, just a heads up!

kind regards

never mind now it works ... weird !!
Hi ,

is there RTL version ?

thanks in advance
Hi,

Sorry there is only LTR version at the moment.

Regards.
Hi

Where can i find an example of a modal form with a form inside ? I'm having a hard time to make it look okay, as the rest of the site.

Could you possible make an example or let me know where to look for it ?

Thanks in advance,
Kent
