Is there any kind of documentation (project structure, details) available?

I am currently struggling around with the data table and ajax load. Adding
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#starwars').DataTable( {
"ajax": "http://swapi.co/api/people"
} );
} );

is resulting in an error:
TypeError: $(...).DataTable is not a function

Can you please give me a hint?
And how would a dynamically loaded grid work together with the refresh button of the cards (data-toggle="refresh")?

Thanks in advance

Working on wrapping up the docs right now, I'll have it ready within the next couple of days.

Are you loading the dataTables from the full version or the seed version project? If you're loading it from the seed project then you'll need to add the dataTables plugin via Bower. The seed project is a stripped down version of the full project. It's designed to have the bare minimum so you can add only what you need for a starting point.

The full project has all of the plugins installed, so if you're in the full project folder you can take a look at 'app/js/modules/dataTables.js' line 6 is where the dataTable initialisation call is. It's wrapped in a function called 'mwDataTables' on line 1. Scroll to the bottom of that page and you can see that 'mwDataTables' is being exported.

Every .js file that's in the Modules folder will have their methods getting exported or imported. Now just outside of the Modules folder is a file called app.js it's located here app/js/app.js this is the file that all of those JavaScript files that are in the Modules folder are getting imported into. This app.js file will import all of those methods at the top then on line 155 of app.js they are getting loaded through a document ready function in short hand notation $(function() { ... });

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

I am very fond of your template and therefore I am planning on buying it. I did however notice a few "bugs", mainly related to the responsiveness:
- Mail utility: the persons' names are not given enough space. Consequently, of the name "Jorge Wallace" the letter "g" is cut off a litte bit on the bottom.
- The chat utility does not shrink to phone dimensions nicely; the persons profile picture is shown only partly. the input box is very small, the sidebar at the left overlaps with the footer.
- This also applies to the calendar, which will overlap with the footer when shrunk.
- Timeline: date/time badge overlaps with navigation bar (not sure if this is supposed to be like that).

Last questions:
- Are you planning on fixing these things?
- If so, will I receive an updated version of the template if I bought it before already?
- If so, will I need to make a lot of adjustments at my side to implement the new version?

Kind regards,

Two things I forgot:
- I cannot select multiple choices when using the multi select.
- The checkboxes and radios work well when I click on the texts. However, it often does not work when I click on the elements themselves. I assume the binding radius is too big.

BTW, I use Google Chrome.
Hi BenjaminV,

Thank you very much for brining these items to my attention. I'll fix any bug found, and you'll receive free updates.
Thank you for your quick response. Could you please confirm that I will receive future updates if I buy the template now?
Yes you will always receive free updates after purchase. The free updates will be tied to your email address. So everytime there's an update to MaterialLab you'll receive an email notification with the link to the free download.
Hi BenjaminV,

Just wanted to let you know we released an update today with v1.4 to address these styling issues.

Best regards,
Autocomplete "Country (with image)" does not do anything: VM162:1 GET http://www.authenticgoods.co/assets/data/autocomplete_countries.json?_=1492507865739 404 (Not Found)
Thanks for the heads up! It's now fixed on the demo. I just forgot to upload the .json file to my server.
Hi authenticgoodsco!

Do you have ideia to create a seed project for ASPNET MVC?
If not, can you give me some tips on the files structure to create that?

That's not been in the roadmap for this project, as of right now the plan is to add a React and Angular versions. However it should be fairly easy to break out what you need from the jQuery seed project to
construct your ASP.NET view templates. Take a look at the new documentation that was added a couple of days ago and click on the Template Structure link. There you'll find the sections you need to create your view templates.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

does it contain teh PSD for photoshop prototyping ?

It's currently not included in the download, but that's in the project plans to be added soon.
Hi, love the design ... great work! What is the timing of your Angular4 seed project?

Thank you very much! Currently working on wrapping up the React seed version, then next on the list is the Angular 4 seed. So we're probably looking at 2 to 3 week timeline.
Hi - Any updates on the release of the React seed version yet? Thanks.
Hi, if I buy this template can I add it to source control for my open source project? Would it be enough to minify the javascript and css for storage in source control?

Yes you can that's no problem, you'll just need to purchase the Extended license if you plan to redistribute the project. When you add the project to your source control just be sure to not check-in the node_modules folder that gets generated, as that folder can tend to get pretty large. Checking in the package.json file for that will keep track of your generated files for you.
Love the template. Great work! Does the purchase include a sketch file with all these components and layouts? That would be really helpful for our design team. Thanks.
Thank you very much! Not yet, they will be once they're all polished and ready for deployment.
@quthenticgoodsco. Any further progress on the Sketch files?

So far I've been enjoying this theme; however the select boxes don't appear to work. In the file form-elements.html (in jQuery full version dist folder) under the 'Basic select example' you can open the select box, but when you select an option the select box stays open rather than closing like I would expect. Any idea how to fix that up?

Well that's super annoying, not sure why I didn't catch that earlier. I see what the issue is and I'll prep for an update asap.

The fix for this in, you should have received and email to download the update. Thank you for reporting this bug!

Best Regards,
No problem, thank you for the theme and the quick response!

I really like the template which is why I bought it. The problem I am having is that I don't understand the bundled files and am under a real time crunch and don't have the time right now to deal with learning webpack. So the question is do you have a copy of the template where the files are not bundled and compiled?

Thank you very much! Yes you can access the separated out .sass files in the app folder. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. You can shoot me an email to [email protected] if you need further assistance.
Sorry I should have been a little clearer. I was referring to the javascript vendor script tags being inlined in the html for all the html files rather than a single bundled javascript file. The reason is that I need to create blade templates for the laravel app pages of the site that I am building and I need to be able to add and remove vendor libraries as they are needed or not needed. In the future I will take the time to learn webpack but I am in a time crunch now.

Hi, I just purchase the template and it has a very nice style, but is so complicate reuse it modulary, I want to use only some parts of the template but it take many time divide the js of the tools... it is provoking me many errors merging it with other tools...it's taking me many time and by this reason I cant use it. I hope you can provide us a version where we can decide and add only the scripts of components to use and NOT use only one or two Full scripts (bundle).

Thank you very much! Sorry to hear you're having some problems. It's actually designed to be completely modular so you can use only what you need.

There's 2 ways you can go about customizing it. You can begin with the Full Project and remove what you don't need and then begin to customize. Or you can start with the Seed Project and start adding only what you need. If you're having problems and don't know where to start I would recommend starting with the Seed Project first. This only includes the base functionality for the theme to be styled properly and make it navigable, then you can start working in only the modules you want.

If you not quite sure how to customize it from the Full Project folder, allow me to explain. Have a look at the app folder, this is your working directory where all of the components are separated out. Open up the 'vendor.json' file, there you can remove any of extra plugins that are not needed. Next look at the 'app/js/app.js' file, this file acts as one large include to all of the JavaScript files that's inside of 'app/js/modules/...'. So for any of the JavaScript files you don't need just remove the import reference and where they get called...which all live on the app/js/app.js' file.

Next have a look at the documentation where it walks you through how to create your own custom bundles.

Hope this helps.

Can we expect an angular 4 version of this theme ?

Yes, we'll have an Angular 4 version out soon.
a:link, a:visited {
transition-property: all;
Reallyy? Why every time I see some yet another cool guy write templates, there are a lot of global styles making this templates so painfull to use.

Thanks for the compliment brah ;)
Yeah it's a matter of preference really, this theme has lots of link transitions through colors and opacity and I prefer to transition them all on a global scale. Please let me know if there's anything I can help you with.

how to make the chat-wrapper scrollable?
If you add the class 'scrollbar' to the card-body on the right it will make that area scrollable, and if you add the same class to the list-group class on the left it makes that scrollable.

Hope this helps!
ruchikdv PURCHASED
But that scrollbar is default scrollbar. How about getting the m custom scrollbar? It isn't working with the chat compose wrapper
ruchikdv PURCHASED
even in the jquery full version, the scrollbar isn't visible even though the class scrollbar is added
The scrollbar is set to only be visible on hover. This is a setting that you can change, here's your options http://manos.malihu.gr/repository/custom-scrollbar/demo/examples/scrollbar_themes_demo.html

For this theme I'm using the "minimal-dark" option. You can find that code I have set inside the full project here: 'app/js/modules/initPlugins.js' line 2

Is the PayPal button working? Having trouble buing the theme....
Yes it should be, are you seeing some type of error on your side?
first off all, I really like you new MaterialLab design!

In the documentation in de Configure Setup, the second block is incorrect, it is a copy of the first block.
Could you please update this block?

Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the heads up! I totally goofed on that, I'll get that updated asap. In the meantime step #2 should read...

2). Install packages
With your build tools installed you're now ready to install our project packages.

-First open your terminal window and navigate into our app directory of the MaterialWrap download package.
-Next run this command in your terminal window npm install This will generate a node_modules folder inside the app directory folder.
-Then run bower install This will generate a bower_components folder inside the app directory folder.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
Thank you very much!!

I just bought this amazing template and wonder if you know the ETA for the angular 4 version?

Thank you very much,
Hi Manuel,

Thank you very much! Should have the Angular 4 seed ready this weekend.
mpeguerus PURCHASED
Thanks that's a good news.....
It would be could also if you can add email template in the future.
Hi, the chat app its functional? php? mysql?

It's the Frontend App View design only, you would need to wire up the backend for it.

I really like this template which is why I want to purchase this for my new project. So i wanted to know when you are going to releasing angular 4 version?.
i am waiting for angular 4 version...

Yes an Angular 4 version is being worked on right now.
Let me know when you are going to releasing angular 4 version or just comment after you release.
Thank you.
Will do!
Does this template have a User Comments section (similar to what you would see on a Facebook post)?
Unfortunately no, but that's a good idea. I'll add it to the list of updates.

I would love to see it as well!
