I am currently struggling around with the data table and ajax load. Adding
is resulting in an error:
TypeError: $(...).DataTable is not a function
Can you please give me a hint?
And how would a dynamically loaded grid work together with the refresh button of the cards (data-toggle="refresh")?
Thanks in advance
Working on wrapping up the docs right now, I'll have it ready within the next couple of days.
Are you loading the dataTables from the full version or the seed version project? If you're loading it from the seed project then you'll need to add the dataTables plugin via Bower. The seed project is a stripped down version of the full project. It's designed to have the bare minimum so you can add only what you need for a starting point.
The full project has all of the plugins installed, so if you're in the full project folder you can take a look at 'app/js/modules/dataTables.js' line 6 is where the dataTable initialisation call is. It's wrapped in a function called 'mwDataTables' on line 1. Scroll to the bottom of that page and you can see that 'mwDataTables' is being exported.
Hope this helps!
I am very fond of your template and therefore I am planning on buying it. I did however notice a few "bugs", mainly related to the responsiveness:
- Mail utility: the persons' names are not given enough space. Consequently, of the name "Jorge Wallace" the letter "g" is cut off a litte bit on the bottom.
- The chat utility does not shrink to phone dimensions nicely; the persons profile picture is shown only partly. the input box is very small, the sidebar at the left overlaps with the footer.
- This also applies to the calendar, which will overlap with the footer when shrunk.
- Timeline: date/time badge overlaps with navigation bar (not sure if this is supposed to be like that).
- Are you planning on fixing these things?
- If so, will I receive an updated version of the template if I bought it before already?
- If so, will I need to make a lot of adjustments at my side to implement the new version?
- I cannot select multiple choices when using the multi select.
- The checkboxes and radios work well when I click on the texts. However, it often does not work when I click on the elements themselves. I assume the binding radius is too big.
BTW, I use Google Chrome.
Thank you very much for brining these items to my attention. I'll fix any bug found, and you'll receive free updates.
Just wanted to let you know we released an update today with v1.4 to address these styling issues.
Thanks for the heads up! It's now fixed on the demo. I just forgot to upload the .json file to my server.
Do you have ideia to create a seed project for ASPNET MVC?
If not, can you give me some tips on the files structure to create that?
That's not been in the roadmap for this project, as of right now the plan is to add a React and Angular versions. However it should be fairly easy to break out what you need from the jQuery seed project to
construct your ASP.NET view templates. Take a look at the new documentation that was added a couple of days ago and click on the Template Structure link. There you'll find the sections you need to create your view templates.
Hope this helps!
Thank you very much! Currently working on wrapping up the React seed version, then next on the list is the Angular 4 seed. So we're probably looking at 2 to 3 week timeline.
Yes you can that's no problem, you'll just need to purchase the Extended license if you plan to redistribute the project. When you add the project to your source control just be sure to not check-in the node_modules folder that gets generated, as that folder can tend to get pretty large. Checking in the package.json file for that will keep track of your generated files for you.
So far I've been enjoying this theme; however the select boxes don't appear to work. In the file form-elements.html (in jQuery full version dist folder) under the 'Basic select example' you can open the select box, but when you select an option the select box stays open rather than closing like I would expect. Any idea how to fix that up?
Well that's super annoying, not sure why I didn't catch that earlier. I see what the issue is and I'll prep for an update asap.
The fix for this in, you should have received and email to download the update. Thank you for reporting this bug!
I really like the template which is why I bought it. The problem I am having is that I don't understand the bundled files and am under a real time crunch and don't have the time right now to deal with learning webpack. So the question is do you have a copy of the template where the files are not bundled and compiled?
Thank you very much! Yes you can access the separated out .sass files in the app folder. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. You can shoot me an email to [email protected] if you need further assistance.
Thank you very much! Sorry to hear you're having some problems. It's actually designed to be completely modular so you can use only what you need.
There's 2 ways you can go about customizing it. You can begin with the Full Project and remove what you don't need and then begin to customize. Or you can start with the Seed Project and start adding only what you need. If you're having problems and don't know where to start I would recommend starting with the Seed Project first. This only includes the base functionality for the theme to be styled properly and make it navigable, then you can start working in only the modules you want.
Next have a look at the documentation where it walks you through how to create your own custom bundles.
Hope this helps.
Reallyy? Why every time I see some yet another cool guy write templates, there are a lot of global styles making this templates so painfull to use.
Thanks for the compliment brah ;)
Yeah it's a matter of preference really, this theme has lots of link transitions through colors and opacity and I prefer to transition them all on a global scale. Please let me know if there's anything I can help you with.
Hope this helps!
For this theme I'm using the "minimal-dark" option. You can find that code I have set inside the full project here: 'app/js/modules/initPlugins.js' line 2
In the documentation in de Configure Setup, the second block is incorrect, it is a copy of the first block.
Could you please update this block?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the heads up! I totally goofed on that, I'll get that updated asap. In the meantime step #2 should read...
2). Install packages
With your build tools installed you're now ready to install our project packages.
-First open your terminal window and navigate into our app directory of the MaterialWrap download package.
-Next run this command in your terminal window npm install This will generate a node_modules folder inside the app directory folder.
-Then run bower install This will generate a bower_components folder inside the app directory folder.
I just bought this amazing template and wonder if you know the ETA for the angular 4 version?
Thank you very much,
Thank you very much! Should have the Angular 4 seed ready this weekend.
It would be could also if you can add email template in the future.
I really like this template which is why I want to purchase this for my new project. So i wanted to know when you are going to releasing angular 4 version?.
Yes an Angular 4 version is being worked on right now.
Let me know when you are going to releasing angular 4 version or just comment after you release.
