Hi smnedelko,

How can we make the top nav dropdown menu open on hover instead of click?
My apologies, see the comment below.
Hi salota8550,

By default, Bootstrap dropdowns don't support onhover event but you can make the nav dropdowns hoverable by adding the next css:

@media (min-width: 768px) {
.px-navbar .dropdown:hover > .dropdown-menu {
display: block;

Best regards, Sergei
Thank you...

works like a charm
Hi smnedelko,

Where can I found documentation about adding multi-level dropdown menus within <ul class="nav navbar-nav">

Thanks in advance
Hi salota8550,

Creating multilevel dropdowns is quite easy - see the code example of multi level dropdown menu on "Dropdown" page in the docs.

Best regards, Sergei.
I check every new theme and updates every weeks. PixelAdmin is the best one UX way... I could show you how i use it (improved UX and full ajax). Thx
Hi olivier_noma,

It would be nice. I always open for new ideas)

Best regards, Sergei.
What alternative to JQueryUI Draggable i could use in v2 ? thx
Hi olivier_noma,

I do not plan to add new plug-ins in the near future, because right now I'm working on integration with Angular. But you can add required plugins manually (see the docs).

Best regards, Sergei
Hi, it's me again :-)

I'm anxious to see this amazing theme with material design skin and I'm waiting for that to update my dashboard app.

Is it in your short-term plans?

Hi rafaelcarvalho,

I promised you that I will add a material theme and this is still in my plans, but I cannot say for sure about the timing, because for now the priority task is integration with frameworks. Here is the my integration plan:

Angular 1.x (80% done)
Angular 2

Thanks for your understanding.

Best regards, Sergei.
Thank you for sharing your plans Sergei.

I will love integration with Ruby on Rails too.
What is builder application? What is builder application password?
Hi sandrapuma55,

In most cases, you don't need all plugins, and Builder app allows you to exclude scripts/stylesheets that you don't need. For example, if you uncheck Dropzone plugin, the compiled js/css files will not contain the Dropzone's js/css code. The benefits:

* Increasing performance / decreasing memory usage - browser don't need to parse/execute unnecessary code
* Decreasing page load time - the resulting js/css files will have smaller size

P.S. The password is: 1

Best regards, Sergei

FYI, when putting panel inside Accordion panel group, the inner panel's CSS has problems.

Would you please take a look at it?! here is an example of what I mean:

<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-12">
<div class="panel-group panel-group-info" id="accordion-example-danger">
<div class="panel">
<div class="panel-heading">
<a class="accordion-toggle collapsed" data-toggle="collapse" data-parent="#accordion-example-danger" href="#collapseOne-danger">
Collapsible Group Item #1
<div id="collapseOne-danger" class="panel-collapse collapse in">
<div class="panel-body">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-6">
<div class="panel panel-danger">
<div class="panel-heading">
<span class="panel-title">Danger</span>
<div class="panel-heading-icon"><i class="fa fa-inbox"></i></div>
<div class="panel-body">
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer posuere erat a ante.
<div class="col-lg-6">
<div class="panel panel-success">
<div class="panel-heading">
<span class="panel-title">Danger</span>
<div class="panel-heading-icon"><i class="fa fa-inbox"></i></div>
<div class="panel-body">
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer posuere erat a ante.
As a quick fix, I've added the [p-x-3] & [p-y-1] classes to the panel-heading div

e.g. <div class="panel-heading p-x-3 p-y-1">
Hi salota8550,

Thanks for the report, I will fix it.

Best regards, Sergei.
It's good template!!!

I have a question, where set default theme?

Try set in demo.js
var result theme: THEMES[14],

result.theme = ****** ? result.theme : THEMES[14];
Hi Kossin,

Thank you. You can include theme file directly into the page's head section (see the introduction page in the docs):

<link href="path/to/dist/css/themes/THEME_NAME.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

If you need to use demo theme switcher, find the demoSettings definition in the demo.js:

var demoSettings = (function loadDemoSettings() {
var result = {
theme: THEMES[defaultThemeIndex],

where defaultThemeIndex - [integer] theme index in the THEMES array.

Best regards, Sergei.
Сергей :)
Я поставил
в var demoSettings

theme: THEMES[8],

Тема как бы установлена, но стили не подключилась
В куках пусто, т.е. при первой загрузке не загружается тема clean, только если переключить в switcher
Так же пробовал, менять в массиве THEMES , ставил вместо default, тоже никак.

Если явно подключить
<link href="path/to/dist/css/themes/THEME_NAME.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
То switcher не работает, не перебивают стили.
ниже на английском, может быть еще кому-нибудь пригодится.

sorry for the late reply - I didn't receive email notification about the comment.

If the problem is still actual:

1. In the page's <head> section find two minified <script> tags with _pxDemo_loadStylesheet and _pxDemo_loadTheme functions.
2. Replace occurrences of "default" with "clean".

Best regards, Sergei.
Thanks Sergei! Its work!!!
Hi, this is a great Theme.
The pixelAdmin Builder is not working. I keep receiving the message. "Before continuing, please install nodejs".
I have a windows 10 64, nodejs is installed, and i added the enviroment variable.

Hello Sergei!
Why cookies path set at current page, not oveall path?

name: px-demo-theme
path: /manager/page

I am going another page (/manager/page2), then cookies not exist and theme not loaded. This problem on my computer and site on web.
Hi Kossin,

My apologies for the late reply. Did you solve the issue?
Why backend developers buy html theme;
* saving time
* easy customization
* perfect design

Pixeladmin is perfect design.Ok.
But i think code quality is very bad.
pixeladmin.min.js is 1.5 MB. This is too large for .js file.
Directory structure is not clear.For example; i want only navbar js code.There are many js files.Very complicated.Customization is NOT easy.

Please analyze other html admin template.
Hi sandrapuma55,

thanks for the comment.

1. What do you mean when you saying that code quality is very bad? Could you be more specific, may be bad code examples?

2. File size 1.5MB must not surprising you, because by default pixeladmin.min.js contains ALL integrated plugins (47 plugins + PA core) - that's why Builder exists. Take any template and concatenate all included plugins - resulting file size will be not much smaller(or even bigger). Just exclude all unused plugins + configure Gzip compression for assets on the server and file size will be much smaller. If you don’t want to use the concatenated version, you can include js files separately from the requirejs assets (it will work even if you don't use RequireJS).

3. I don't find the structure complicated - just use assets from the dist directory, which contains compiled css and js(concatenated and requirejs versions) files. Source directories, such as js or scss, contain .scss and .js files that are converted by sass and babel on compilation. Anyway, improved package directory structure and build process will be available on the upcoming update.

4. Some core components, such as px-nav/px-navbar/px-sidebar/px-footer, are deeply integrated with PA. You can use it outside PA, but it will require from you spend some time for integration.

5. What do you mean by customization?
- you can customize theme (for example height of navbar, width of px-nav, height of px-nav and px-nav dropdown items, toastr icons, dropzone icon size and much more) just by editing scss variables;
- you can add custom colors with one line of code;
- you can create themes using scss mixins;
- you can exclude unused components...

P.S. I have been programming for more than 10 years and I also was a backend developer, so I know how it work.

Anyways, if you have integration/customization questions, you always can email me.

Best regards, Sergei.
austinpan PURCHASED
Hello smnedelko,
I've purchased this theme before and get new updates.
I found a strange thing here.

I put form components in a table within a form, and use pxValidate for the form.
When form components have values and focusout/blur it.
A error console message would be generate: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'classList' of undefined
Could you help us to find out what happened. Thanks a lot.
Hi austinpan,

I can't reproduce the error. Could you email me example of markup that you're using?

Best regards, Sergei
Any date expectation for integration with AngularJS 2?
Hi GabrielBraga,

I'll release the update once the documentation for Angular 1 version will be completed. After that I'll work on integration with Angular 2. I can't tell you about the integration timing, but the update will be released in one-two weeks.

Best regards, Sergei
Hi smnedelko,

I like your template, but I have some points that I really need. I'm not sure if you can add them to the template anytime soon if its possible:
- I saw the Tree comment widget, but i need the regular Tree component with checkboxes
- Wizard with Vertical steps
- Does the template come with landing page?
Hi anas_alfar,

1. Yes, I plan to add tree plugin, but not in the near future. May be after 2-3 updates.
2. I thought about it, but, for now, I have more important tasks. You can use jquery-steps plugin instead.
3. No, current version has no landing page (but it will be available in the next update).

Anyways, you can add and use any plugins - PixelAdmin is just a template with predefined set of default plugins.

Best regards, Sergei.
Hey im new on this i want to know how can i install this admin system on my server plus how can i edit it
Hi webbuildernyc,

PixelAdmin is just an frontend HTML5 template and it don't provide any backend code. So you need to integrate the theme with your project manually.

Best regards, Sergei
Hi smnedelko
