I like theme options so far, but a little frustrated the header, nav, and footer are hard-coded into each page. My current site is set up with ng-view & $route controls ( so only one set of code controlling all of the common elements). Trying to figure out the best way to make use of your theme and my current controls without breaking anything.
Please refer to reply below.

Hello,

Thanks for purchasing the theme.
Since it's a HTML template, it will independent from any of back-end engine such as PHP. We also have no plan to create the theme in AngularJS version. Thus, we didn't provide template-engine-like delivery. But we provide documentation to understand how the page is structured.

To divide the page into common elements such as header, nav and footer, please go to documentation, sub-section "HTML Structure". You should be able to define common elements candidate right there. In addition, inspecting page template via Web Developer Tools could be helpful.

Ted
Thank you for the reply. That's basically what I'm doing - stripping the Repute template down so the Index contains common header / footer content only; interior pages contain unique content only. I've got the back-end mostly built - just don't quite have the js connections working right... will get there by day's end hopefully!

Also, the documentation in this theme is very good - thank you for being so thorough in setting that up. It's been very easy to sort through and pluck out the content I want to utilize in my site.

How do you change the main slider so that it is only the width of the main content below it, and not the full width of the screen? Also, I need for my images in the slider to actually scale down at a 1:1 ratio in responsive, and not just the div that contains the images scaling down. When the screen is stretched down, the images themselves do not scale - they just get cropped by the containing div. Can this be fixed? Thanks - great template.
Hi,

Thanks for purchasing the theme.
To change the width of the slider, wrap the slider content with container class.
<section class="hero-unit-slider">
<div class="container">
...
</div>
</section>

If you want to take another approach with image slider as you've explained, you need to add img-responsive class to every slider image. For example:
<img src="assets/img/sliders/slider1-h500.png" class="img-responsive" alt="Slider Image">

Since the class applied max-width:100% to the image, it preserved image aspect ratio causing image to be shorter. You may need to determine new image dimension for this effect.
Hope it helps.

Ted

Now I've got another question - My tabs and FAQ functionality isn't working in mobile, and I can't figure out what I'm missing. Here's the page in question http://101mobility.com/dev/responsive/harmar-stairlifts.php

At the bottom the tabbed and FAQ modules work great on desktop, but it breaks in mobile. How do I fix this? Thanks!

I think I have a conflict with my location finder plugin in the sidebar. When I remove it, the problem goes away. If there's anything you can think of that would help me resolve that, I would appreciate it.

Nevermind - fixed it!

Hello,
I would like to know if your templates that are built with earlier Bootstrap versions, specifically with Bootstrap 2.3.2
Please let me know your comments.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Diego
Hi Diego,

Thanks for purchasing the theme.
Anyway, this template is released with Bootstrap 3.3.x since initial release (v1.0)

Ted
I've either changed something or have a conflicting script that's causing an issue in the <!-- MAIN NAVIGATION --> section of my website. I want the "main-nav" drop down menu & sub-menus to disappear on click like the Respute template menus do - mine are staying open with the hover. Can you please take a quick look and help debug? I'm not having any luck resolving. Thank you!

Hi,

Since you use AngularJS, it doesn't refresh the page and didn't trigger hiding dropdown menu. Please follow this link that might help you http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20918627/close-dropdown-menu-on-click-in-angular-bootstrap-ui

I've purchased the theme, but I'm having a few problems working with it:

The "Portfolio 4 columns" page often renders the images about 20px high when I refresh the page (using Chrome and Firefox here).

I can't get any sized logo, other than the one supplied, to work. My logo is 300 x 65, but it appears really small in the header.

I'm also having trouble with the styling of the expanded menu (on mobiles), but I'm not sure if that's because I'm using the latest 3.3.5 bootstrap.

Other than these issues, it's a fantastic theme :)

I fixed the portfolio (isotope) issue by following this: http://blog.codebusters.pl/en/images-height-and-position-problem-masonry-isotope/

I also managed to get the expanded menu working as intended (not quite sure what I did tbh)
Hi,

Thanks for purchasing the theme.
Since you have resolved 2 issues, and that's great, I will answer about the logo.

Logo width is determined in css, if you change the width value it will resize proportionally.
Please open assets/css/main.css and find ".navbar-brand.navbar-logo-bigger > img"
You can adjust logo width here and also top position. By adjusting logo width in css, you can control how big logo will be displayed in certain screen size.

Ted
Hi MilkyJoe

How did you solve the isotope issue? I used your link but i don't know where to change it...

Thanx

Is it possible to have the carousel-hero images centered within the carousel, rather than being left aligned? For example, if the carousel image is 1000px wide, but the display is 500px wide, the visible area of the image would be 250px - 750px. The center is usually the focal point of the image, and not the left hand side.

Thanks
Hi,

Really sorry apparently I didn't notice this comment notification on my email so it left unanswered for weeks. Regarding your question, yes it's possible to adjust the focal point of the image.

Set image position to "relative" and add pixel value to "left" or "right".
As the demo at "Home v1", you can apply below example:
.slick-slide img {
position: relative;
left: -50px;
}

Ted

Thanks for getting back to me Ted.

So I'd have to set up the alignment for each of the media resolutions/widths? It's not possible to simply center at 50% of the images width, for all resolutions?

I still haven't managed to get it to work, but I could be missing something obvious.
Hi,

I don't know where you at from achieving your requirement, but perhaps this general info might be useful. You can also define left value as percentage like:
.slick-slide img {
position: relative;
left: -50%;
}

Assuming you want the slider has 800px width:
.slick-carousel {
width: 800px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}

Ted

I've purchased 3 different themes from WrapBootstrap and this one has so far been my favorite to work with, mainly because it avoids a lot of the unnecessary JavaScript bloat and excessive animations used to WOW buyers, which means it takes a lot less work to slim down the theme for speed.

As an example, instead of a complex SmoothScrolling plugin, they include a simple class 'scroll-link' that goes to a #target that finds .target-container in the page and smoothly moves you there, and they do it in about 20 lines of JavaScript.

Simple, easy, and efficient. There needs to be more theme developers like this.
Thank you for your review and glad that you can take the benefit from what you have purchased.
Making it simple and easier to use are always our top priority when developing theme.
Using the Index3 page layout, how do I get the navigation to show above the hero unit in mobi views?
Hi,

I've been very happy working with this theme. Responsive on mobil and tablet when I launched the site in June 2015. Now it is not responsive on mobil and tablet.
Live site ---> http://www.continuumcapitalmanagers.com
Any reason for this problem?
Help appreciated!!
Hi,

Thanks for purchasing the theme.
I have checked your live site and I didn't see any problem as mentioned.
You can send me screenshot of the problem via email (see documentation for support email address).

However, I found that your site uses frame loaded with content from http://www.continuumcm.com/
It's strongly recommended that you do not use frame, better to copy the site to the new domain.

Regards,
Ted
Thank you, Ted. You are spot on! The frame on the site is what is causing the problem.

I have the files hosted on the continuumcm domain. The continuumcapitalmanagers domain was forwarding to the continuumcm domain with masking (which is why the frame was used). Eliminating the masking and frame, and simply setting it up as a direct forward fixed the problem.

Very much appreciated!

Could you tell me what font was used for the stock logo?
Hi,

Thanks for purchasing the theme.
Anyway, the logo uses Dosis font.

This is a great theme. I just wanted to point out that there is no opening <html> tag in the pages with version 1.1. I don't know if you fixed it in 1.2 or not as I haven't checked that out yet.
Hi,

Thank you for purchasing the theme and sorry for that.
This is obviously our mistake, we have fixed most of them at v1.2, but apparently still missing at shop and one-page templates.
Anyway, v1.2.1 is on processing and should be released soon.
Thanks for your report, really appreciate that.

Could you make email templates for this theme by chance? I think it would be a really great feature.
Hi,

Thank you for purchasing Repute and your valuable input.
Noted as one of theme features for the next release.

I know you don't provide template-engine-like out of the box, but would you recommend one? And moreover, would you recommend any for i18n of a website?

Thanks
We're considering Repute for our new site since it seems the most adept at accommodating multi-level content. We're a non-profit, text-content heavy site with 2-3 levels of content in some sections. Is there a site using Repute that's live that we can see this feature (and the associated navigation) employed? The live demo site doesn't show what a sub-level page looks like. And we also need to know what kind of pages we could use to display news and/or publication types of content. Thanks - would be happy to talk in person as well. www.sustainablefish.org.
Hi,

Thank you for considering Repute as your new site.
Anyway, I can't give showcase since my customers rarely shared their live site but however if you want to see the sub-level page looks like please visit (the boxed links are just for demo) :

http://demo.thedevelovers.com/business/repute-v1.2.1/feature-page-header.html

The theme has some page header variations, from minimal to page header with image background. Also, it perhaps can show you a text-content heavy example:

http://demo.thedevelovers.com/business/repute-v1.2.1/page-privacy.html

Hope it answer your questions.

Regards,
Ted
Also, as for the news or publication, please find the blog demo site here http://demo.thedevelovers.com/business/repute-v1.2.1/blog-medium-thumbnail.html

Thank you.
Does anyone have experience converting this to a Wordpress theme?

This is a phenomenal theme! It is my favourite corporate theme on this entire site. I have purchased it and adapted it for my companies homepage. It was easy to convert to Django-CMS.

I highly recommend people purchase this theme!
