Apart from that - Well done - superb work :)
thx for your kind feedback.
Definitely a mailer function would be a great plus.
Currently I check some PHP mailer scripts and plan to release an update soon (tomorrow?) with a embedded mail form and mail script.
The new version 1.0.3 is available.
I add a working contact form (with PHP form handler script) and a form validation script.
You can see it on the first demo page called "Schaefer":
Just hit the "contact" link in the top nav to scroll down to it.
It works out of the box as soon as your server supports PHP (of course). The only thing you have to do is to add your mail adress into the php/contact.php file instead of the current sample adress.
Great work... Purchased!!
I have purchased and the site does not look too great on smaller Iphone (iphone 4) and seems to jump a lot as i scroll but i can tweak this.
However are the large images supposed to be parallax? If so they do not seem to work on the template site?
Thanks for the feedback!
Hm, yes. The demo site header slider images using the skrollr.js (https://github.com/Prinzhorn/skrollr) parallax script.
I test it here on my (...high resolution...) iMac and the parallax effect looks okay. But the problem is (and I was not aware of it...) that as more as you can see on your display at once the more you can see the effect itself. With smaller dpi resolutions the effect will be "smaller" too. A classic case of "device blindness"...
I will play around a bit with the settings and will tweak the demo site within the next days.
Here are some tipps if you want to tweak it on your own:
For example the first slide (in demo1) starts with:
<section class="wrapper wrapper-hero wrapper-lg wrapper-bck-image-full" style="background-image: url(img/hero7.jpg);" data-start="background-position:0% 100%;" data-end="background-position:0% 0%;">
Th important part is:
data-start="background-position:0% 100%;" data-end="background-position:0% 0%;
That means the slides background moves down for 100% (of its own hight) if you are at the bottom of the website itself. It looks great if you use it on a normal sizes website. But the demo site is relatively high so the movement is minimal.
But of course you can edit this setting
defines the background position if you are at the top of the page and:
if you are at the bottom of the page.
You can add a higher value, or a px value or even values relatively to the users viewport.
Check the skrollr.js doc chapter "relative mode (or viewport mode)":
Hope it helps a bit.
Thanks again for your feedback and for purchasing my template!
I really loved your templates. And particularly, I would like to purchase Schaefer Demo 1 template. But the only issue is that I noticed its not mobile responsive, when I simulated for mobile. Do you have one optimised/compatible for mobile devices?...Please let me know asap as I would like to buy one soon. Thanks in advance.
