Can we expect Mega Menu in unify 1.6?
Hi SoftwarePlant,

Thank you for your comment.

Yes, It will be added in v1.6 Unify. Actually, we wanted to add in v1.5 Unify however, we had some issues with mega menu, due to this we postponed it to next release.

Please feel free to ask If you have other questions.

Hi,

Thank you for this amazing template, I love it.

Quick question about style switcher. How can I change the default color? Cos I changed the class of the blue link to theme-active, now when I open the style switcher the blue option it's highlighted, I woud like the all page to be blue by default.

Thank you very much and keep up the good work!!

Niccolò
Hi AlphaNikRules,

Thank you for your comment. We do really appreciate it.

Style switcher is used for live demo purpose. You should need to change in HTML file default.css to blue.css in each page.

For example:
Default (Green): <link rel="stylesheet" href="assets/css/themes/default.css">
Blue Color: <link rel="stylesheet" href="assets/css/themes/blue.css">

Moreover, you can find more detailed information in documentation also.

Please feel free to ask If you have other questions.

Hi,

I am trying to get the gallery page (or any lightbox thumbnail) to work on an iPad where you can scroll through related images. I.e. if the data-rel is the same you should either have navigation arrows to switch to the next image or you can swipe.

My code works fine on a desktop but not on iPad, and I have just checked the preview theme on iPad and the gallery does not let you move between images.

Is this something I can do or can it be fixed?

Thanks,

John

Hello htmlstream Team,

thank you for this powerful template.

I am unfortunately not familiar with CSS as well - so a few questions.

Is it possible to insert a different logo instead of the "logo1 red.png", which is about 370px wide and 136 pixels high and its size on automatically shrink the browser window adapts.
setting the .header to a fixed height the header, navbar etc. collapses

Is the search function in the template functionally?

Thank you for the efforts
Hi Mich,

Thank you for your comment.

Usually you're able to insert any size of logo but It requires some CSS changes. However, we've never tried to insert such a big logo (370px height) in the Unify Template. Could you please send us a link to your page to support@htmlstream.com? Seems better to have a look for a demo link.

Unfortunately, there is no search function in the Unify because It's just a static HTML Template.

Thank you,
Htmlstream

mustang09
Hi Mustang,

Thank you for your message.

You should use data-autoplay="false" in the revolution slider. For example:

<div class="caption fade "
data-autoplay="false"
data-nextslideatend="false"
data-x="20"
data-y="120"
data-speed="900"
data-start="500"
data-easing="easeOutBack">
<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YHWkro9-e9Q?hd=1&wmode=opaque&controls=1&showinfo=0" width="500" height="281"></iframe>
</div>

I recently purchased the Unify theme. I don't understand how to implement it in a ASP.NET MVC project. I understand replacing basic .css and .js files but there is an extremely large amount of content. Detailed instructions would be very beneficial.

Thank you,
Mike
Hi Mike,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have documentation for backend integration. However, we have plans in a future to write basic documentations for PHP, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails and CMS Templates.

Please let us know If you have other questions.

I agree with MGaines.

A tutorial to use in ASP.net would be fantastic!

This is a great, nice template.
Very well documented. That makes easy to work on it, to find itself inside the code.
I had the developer"s support when I needed.
I strongly recommend the Unify.
But there is a weakness. The chart and graphs are not good. That means, they are beautiful but to weakness in possibilities. I had to change the javascript code to customize my needs. And it is no so easy to modify the JS code. You could make it easy to set the pie charts. One could say that to chart and graphs wrapbootstrap has admin & dashboards templates. But what if we want to stay in the same pattern of layout and design? Not good to merge two different templates. I think the authors could make changes in this direction.
Hi Igoralves,

Thank you very much for your warm comment. We do much appreciate it.

We have plans to integrate Admin Dashboard features into Unify in future releases. Meanwhile you can contact to our support email (support@htmlstream.com) with any issues, we will do our best to help you.

By the way here is simple pie charts example:

<!-- Pie Charts v2 -->
<div class="row pie-progress-charts margin-bottom-60">
<div class="inner-pchart col-md-4">
<div class="circle" id="circle-1"></div>
<h3 class="circle-title">UI Design</h3>
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.</p>
</div>
<div class="inner-pchart col-md-4">
<div class="circle" id="circle-2"></div>
<h3 class="circle-title">Web Development</h3>
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.</p>
</div>
<div class="inner-pchart col-md-4">
<div class="circle" id="circle-3"></div>
<h3 class="circle-title">JavaScript</h3>
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.</p>
</div>
</div>
<!-- End Pie Charts v2 -->

initCirclesMaster1: function () {
//Circles 1
Circles.create({
id: 'circle-1',
percentage: 87,
radius: 80,
width: 8,
number: 87,
text: '%',
colors: ['#eee', '#72c02c'],
duration: 2000
})

//Circles 2
Circles.create({
id: 'circle-2',
percentage: 74,
radius: 80,
width: 8,
number: 74,
text: '%',
colors: ['#eee', '#72c02c'],
duration: 2000
})

//Circles 3
Circles.create({
id: 'circle-3',
percentage: 65,
radius: 80,
width: 8,
number: 65,
text: '%',
colors: ['#eee', '#72c02c'],
duration: 2000
})
},

You can easily change any pie chart (each circle) via javascript as shown above. Here is official plugin website for more detailed information https://github.com/lugolabs/circles

Please let us know If you have other questions.

Thank you,
Htmlstream
Hello htmlstream
Thanks for reply me.
So as you told, we can change the values via javascript.
But the problem is that someone that will use your template in a dynamically site, like me, will generate the HTML on the fly, after reading a MySql data. So, in this way is impossible the generate charts dynamically, because I will not change the javascript dynamically.

You could do that in your code: Example, lets say I want to show the value 47%. I WILL SHOW IN UPPERCASE

<div class="circle PIE" id="circle-3"></div>

For the JS code
var value= $(".pie").html();

Now you can use the value variable in your initCirclesMaster() function.

This could be more easy way to setting values for charts and etc.

The way you choose tho create that, make almost impossible to create Dynamically pages.

Thanks
Igor

Hi

Having downloaded your template due to the professional look, I seem to have a problem in getting the countdown to work on the Coming Soon page. In seeing whether there is a problem with my server, I checked on your Live Preview and the countdown isn't working their either.

Can you let me know how I can get the countdown to actually count down!

Thanks in advance.

Loving your work, and will love it a LOT more if the countdown timer will work!

Darren
Hi.

Just ignore this. For some reason the countdown isn't working on Safari for me. Just downloaded Firefox and all is good! So, I return to being a very happy user of your Unify template!

Looking forward to the next version.

Thanks, Darren

We will fix the countdown issue on Safari browser in future release.

Hello,
you set FORMS validation behavior linked to the ID="sky-form1".
It is not a good choice to control the object behavior in ID because if we have 2 elements (forms) in the same page with the same behavior we gonna have 2 same IDs. So I'like to change to the CLASS="".

Maybe you set in any javascript to do that based on ID. But I can find where is it.

Can you explain please?

Thanks
Hi I found the JS code.
It calls forms/reg.js and I must change $("#sky-form") to $("form-validate").

Thanks
to $(".form-validate").
Hi Igor,

Thank you for your comment and your suggestion. We will consider it in our future releases.

We will improve our documentation regarding forms in our future releases. By the way, we're using third party plugin for "Unify Forms" and It has own documentation under the Sky-Forms folder. We hope you can find more detailed information in the Sky-Forms documentation for further issues.

Please feel free to contact us If you have other questions.

Hi - I bought your unify template and it's working great. I have one question:

I am trying to make my top menu bar with logo be fixed rather than scrolling away. I found the css in the style.css file, but it doesn't seem to be working.... can you point me in the right direction? The code I'm using is following. Thanks for any help! Ellen
PS - I have also tried to use <div class="header header-fixed"> - which didn't work either.

<!--=== Header ===-->
<div class="header header-fixed header-fixed-shrink">
<!-- Topbar -->
.......
<!-- End Topbar -->

<!-- Navbar -->
.......
<!-- End Navbar -->
</div>
<!--=== End Header ===-->
Hi Ellen,

Thank you for your comment. We do really appreciate it.

You should add "header-fixed" class into <body> tag. For example: <body class="header-fixed">
Moreover, you're able to find more detailed information in the documentation.

Please let us know If you have other questions.

Thank you,
Htmlstream
Thanks htmlstream...I'll give that a try!
Hi - So, I tried to put the header-fixed class in the body as you mentioned. And I put all the other code back to default code...but it is still not working. I checked out your page_home10.html and see it working there. I compared all my code to the code on that page, and confirmed that it is all exact. Any thoughts on what else to check...? Thanks! Ellen
I want to second the comment from @John-Roberts regarding gallery page not working on an iPad. Overall I love the template, but it was a big disappointment to find this doesn't allow you to navigate images on iPad.

Just downloaded this and started looking into it. I plan on using this to make a very simple small business style website so I won't be using a lot of the features in this which is ok. My question is, is it ok to leave for example all the css stuff for all the other features/pages that I don't need? I just don't feel like sifting through several thousand lines and removing the ones I don't need. Will it effect performance much?
Hi,

Hi Wiredin,

Thank you very much for your comment.

Unify template was built on purpose in order to cover up all size projects. We have separated core CSS files from additional one to make life easy to everyone and on the same time to keep perfomance same. Please feel free to use any part of the template and remove the ones you don't need.

Please let us know If you have other questions.

I am trying to use this theme on my asp.net web forms project. I have tried to implement this theme and it doesn't work as shown on the demo. Do I have to keep the folders of the js and css just exactly as you created them. Do you think this theme will work on asp.net? Thanks
