Your menu doesn't work in iphone ? Could you please fix this as a matter of urgency ?

Just a quick note to say this issue was resolved over email within 24hrs . Hotfix posted below and new version with fix very soon.
I'd like to buy but the menu doesn't work in iPhone and I don't want to debug this thing.
Hi Peyge, I am about to release a new version with a big code rewrite, 5 new page templates and a few bugs ironed out. The code for the new version is completely finished, I am just working on some documentation and release information for my website and it should be out this weekend.

For now if you are interested the simple fix is to stop propagation on the sidebar by adding the below to the end of your javascript file. The Page will show the new info once it is released.

$('.sidebar').on('click', function(){
return true;
Just wondering when you are going to release the new build ? Is it going to consists a user profile page ?
I have just released the latest version with an author page.
Hello, thanks for a theme.
Got some problems.

1. Your fonts don't support the cyrillic symbols. And text with cyrillic and latin symbols looks ugly :(
2. A text on "category" tab on homepage is not readable if the category-image is not dark.
3. The text on "category" tab on homepage is not clickable.

Is it possible that you fix it?
Hello o10g thanks for your purchase

1. You can select aditional subsets for fonts by using a differnt google font include - http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Source+Sans+Pro

If the current font is not able to have subsets for cryillic and latin and you need this you may need to select a new font to use instead.

2. Correct, the image should always be a darker image so the white text is visible, this could of course be changed or customised through the CSS. If you need it to be dynamic I recommend adding an extra class when you have a light image so that you can style the text dark.

3. I have looked into this issue and will let you know when the fix should be released. If needed before

I received a bug report from a user visiting my site (http://pokstad.com) using your Writer theme. He indicated that while on the PC version of Chrome he was unable to scroll properly. He investigated the issue and sent me the following:

"I have quickly found out with Chrome DevTools that this is all because a little CSS block at the very end with the ID "jPanelMenu-style-master", put there by the jPanelMenu plugin, I guess. If I just remove ",body" after ".jPanelMenu" (so that "overflow-x: hidden" is not applied on body) that fixes scrolling immediately, while the slide-in menu keeps working.

If the makers of jPanelMenu already fixed this then you could deploy the latest version. Or you could just manually apply this little patch (removing "body") so that readers with mouse wheels all over the world can rejoice. :)"

I attempted to upgrade to JPanelMenu 1.4.1 but it caused the sidebar background on the main page to stop staying fixed while scrolling the content on the right side. It actually caused the sidebar graphic to grow the length of the content on the right side.

Thank you for your time. I love this theme and I hope you are able to help out with this issue.

Hi Paul,

I will look into the issue and get a fix into the writer theme asap. The newest version of jPanelMenu changes quite a few things with how the CSS works for the plugin and fixed positioning inside of the menu no longer works. I will have to make a custom update to allow the theme to continue to work in the current way, I will reply as soon as an update is ready. It may take a little time so expect an update this weekend. Thanks Sam
Love this theme. Is there any tutorial to swiftly put it into use using Jekyll on GitHub Pages? I find this one similar to the Hyde theme, but with some better features. I am fairly new to Jekyll, though, and want something of easy implementation.
How to enable scroll at the left-menu(triggered from left side, have many lists)?
And at this left-menu, how to add many sub lists of one list?
Hi Quki, this change will require you to add custom CSS on the left-menu.
Hi there. I was wondering if it's possible to put more content into the nav bar besides "Posts" and "Categories." I attempted to add more divs and subnav items but it looks like this isn't possible with "toggleClass". Is this possible?
Unfortunately this can't be done with toggle class when there are more than two items. The best thing to do with more than two div's is to use a data attribute on the link. hide all divs and use the data-attribute to determine which div should be shown, if you have trouble doing this let me know here and I will help. Is it possible to add the menu to the 404 page? The template only has the 'No Javascript' menu but I'd like users to be able to navigate back to the site from a 404.
Very disappointing template. I was wondering why on a lot of pages there is nothing displaying the website name. That seems odd.
Hey peacockdata.
I'm sorry if you're disappointed with the template, I always want people to enjoy my work but of course it won't be right for everyone. Writer is intended to be minimal with a user first approach, it aims to let the content shine and remove all unnecessary distractions. You are welcome to customise the template however you see fit if you prefer to have the website name more visible.
Hey Guys.

I am looking through the template description and cannot figure our if this is built on top of a WordPress engine or if would have to sort out my own persistence level? Can someone please give me so information about this, that has already bought the theme?

There's an error:
Error: Bootstrap dropdown require Popper.js (https://popper.js.org)

Should I download the required js file?
