I found out the jumps are coming from the reviews-slider, when the content differs in lenght. Now comes the weird thing: I deleted the reviews-section and if I check it in ff "contact" works, but in return "news" is not working, strange... hopefully that helps a bit for finding the bug

Yes great, you fixed it! Good job! Could you also update that the active link-color appears in the mobile menu as well? The mobile user can not see any link-change, that would be standart for a good usability. When will you update the files? Thanks again!

The fix is included in v1.2. Tested in IE11 and Firefox (Windows system)
